Good afternoon, just wanted to vent my frustration to a loyal group. As a long - time watcher of the Bronco Nation forums, this is my first post. In a nutshell, I ordered a 2021 Bronco Big Bend back in late 2020. Formal order in March 2021 prior to deadlines to keep my place in line. I did a vehicle order change in July 2021 to match precisely what Ford corporate said would be the first vehicles to be produced....scaled down 2.3L Bronco without any hardtop, towing hitches, sasquatch, etc.. within a few weeks, got a production date set for September 7th week by Ford Corporate. Since that date, I have received 7, yes SEVEN, production date revisions by corporate...3 in the last 4 weeks. I am now set for week of December 6th, 2021. Are you joking me? I have not seen any other forum member post that they had 7 production date changes for the precise, easy to produce Bronco they alerted us to back in July 2021. What the heck is going on?????? Zero complications for my simple Big Bend order. Ford seems to be sticking with my 2021 model year, despite the fact 2022 models are coming off the assembly line and being delivered to dealerships. Can they do that???? shouldn't my model now be a 2022 current model being produced!!
For the record, my ford dealership, Randall Reed planet ford 635 in Garland, TX has been great. Suzanne Baker is the GSM and has been golden. She sends all my complaints to the Ford Rep for their dealership and whoever that is, is plain awful. Not a single response to Suzanne or I's questions or explanations. Suzanne has confirmed in writing they will keep the MSRP pricing on my Bronco, despite reading what other dealerships nationally are doing to their customers by raising prices to market price. Also, she has offered me the full $1,000 toward customer appreciation dollars that Ford released to their dealerships months ago. And she even offered me a 2022 Ford Bronco they just received last week in Race Red color that they received with no customer tagged to it, because she felt horrible about Ford's issue with my vehicle order. I had to decline the new Bronco, as my wife is adamant about the Cactus Gray and the production date was set for December 2nd, 2 weeks away. Today, Ford changed the order to week of December 6th. My first time ordering a Ford, and absolutely my last. this is how they treat their customers who have waited a year for the vehicle??? I emailed the corporate Ford team to complain...of course, not a single reply for months now. So tempted to call it a day and buy a Jeep off the floor. Horrible experience I am having.
