Well after sitting for two days in Vaughn, NM, Blutarsky started moving again today. As of 30 minutes ago, he is westbound from Flagstaff. Four stops to go until hitting the end of the line in El Mirage, AZ. If all goes well it will start the wait for the car transport to the dealership sometime tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

It’s perfectly understandable, Tim. Taking delivery of a new vehicle is always cause for celebration, but when you’ve personally selected the vehicle and its options, and then followed it’s progress through the production cycle, it elevates the anticipation of bringing it home all the more!

So Wednesday was the day to bring Blutarsky home. They weren’t able to get the PDI completed until late Tuesday. What’s another day right?

I LOVE it, Tim! I was gonna ask what was going on but realized you may have had a ball in play and I didn’t want to jinx it. “Blutarsky” is both a beaut and a brute, and I bet it’s a welcome addition to your stable. Congratulations on your acquisition! It’s truly remarkable. I can’t wait to hear what you think of the Stroppe Edition Bronco. Enjoy the “getting acquainted” period! 🥰

The good:
The upgraded lux package stereo is noticeably better
The Hoss 3.0 suspension and the tires make for a much better on road experience. Even when driving home on over inflated tires(45 psi)
You can definitely tell the wheel base is way shorter.
New gauge cluster is nice!
And I’m not sure if it is the larger doors or what they did, but the opening and closing of the doors and the indexing of the windows is great
This is a very tightly made vehicle.
One last thing is that it feels like it has a much better tune and exhaust note.

The bad:
Nothing with the vehicle. A really well built vehicle, Fit and finish.
BUT….Hey, @Ford Motor Company when you send a die hard customer an on line offer with a special code, and that code does not exclude the special model I have on order, don’t come back later and change the deal. And after I became a dealership employee and I see right in the computer the D Plan pricing I am eligible for on that non excluded vehicle, and when I later find out about the employee pricing for all and again no exclusion on that vehicle, don’t change the offer after the fact. Because getting a text about no coupon or either plan when I am pulling up to the dealership is pretty disheartening. Sorry this vehicle isn’t eligible just pisses one off. As a matter of fact I had joked with my sales guy and sales manager that Ford would find a way to screw me. Because it has happened before. Now I know that I originally thought I would be paying MSRP and I was ok with it.(Not really) But after seven prior Ford purchases, six since 2018, I thought that when you told me I was a valued customer and here is a gift just for me? That you were actually gonna show me some love. I waited 26 months for my 22 Bronco and 7 months for this one. Fortunately the dealership did show me some love and we agreed on a price I could live with. But I tell you this, I was ready to walk away. I guess I just need to lower my expectations and the level of vehicle I am gonna purchase next time. My feelings about this involve both of my middle fingers. I can’t wait to see if there will be a 60th anniversary Bullitt edition. I need to replace both my 08 and 19 Bullitt’s that were sold for this purchase. My love of cars is an illness.

Wow, at best, that was a bittersweet experience. I'm sorry your transaction didn't go as smoothly and predictably as you had hoped. I thought something was amiss when I hadn't seen an introductory post soon after seeing the preview photos you shared.

I trust this will become a mere footnote in the book of memories you will make in the years to come. 😎

I am fulfilling my mid-life desire and have worked with my dealer to submit my order for my future 2025 Bronco Badlands, in Marsh Gray with Black Appearance, Sasquatch, Lux, etc. I received my order number right away, and now it's time to wait, but for how long? My dealer says that builds submitted now are taking 10-12 weeks to fulfill. Still, I am curious to know what others are seeing or feeling who are in a similar situation, waiting in anticipation. I mean, how many YouTube videos can one watch while waiting for Santa to put that gift under the tree?

So the OP has the exact build you ordered. His build took just shy of four months from order to delivery. He lives in Indiana so delivery was very quick. Again things can vary depending on any constraints or holds. Once you get the email with the vin and projected build week you will have a better idea. I hope that helped

Thank you; that helps a lot. I never thought my time in the Marine Corps, learning to hurry up and wait, was all about training me for this moment!
