So my dealer said they can order the 2024 Bronco tomorrow. Going to try and order a 2door Base, 2.3, 7 speed in white, Sasquatch and just switches and mats. I don’t need anything fancier.

Fingers crossed they build it in the next 2 years lol.

Can you get a Basesquatch with a manual?
That may be a new thing I haven't played with the B&P in a while.

For 2022 and 2023, you could order a Basesquatch manual on 2-door only. 4-door was limited to automatic.

BUT, we don't even know if the Base trim is coming back to be perfectly honest. Order Guides haven't been released yet and order banks don't open until (hopefully) next week.

Price rise will be interesting to see, but if they still offer it, it should remain the best Bronco deal out there...

Ah yeah. Ford has a live stream tomorrow with the dealers regarding Bronco.

Those live streams are usually just high level information (mostly timelines), so I don't know how much info dealers will get. But they'll definitely know more tomorrow than they do today.

Should stop by tomorrow and let us know what you find out!

They may be able to take what you want on the 24', but remember it's not an order until you actually have a DORA, with an order number. I've heard of people who have sat down and completed a build and price with their salesman, thinking it was the actual order, and find out later the order was never input into WEBDO--salesman no longer works there, etc.

In other words, get a hard copy of the DORA with the order number.

Good luck and enjoy your Basesquatch!

Dealer called and the Base model has been dropped. He is ordering a 2023 Big Bend with my options and he assumes it will get rolled over into a 2024 and he described this as a hack. This increased the price $4k. $650 price increase on 2024.

I'd call them back and just switch your order to a no-option Badlands. Granted we don't have full 2024MY pricing yet, but the price difference between a Big Bend with Sasquatch and a Badlands without Sasquatch is less than ~$1000. Both have rear locker, front locker, 4.70 gearing, improved suspension, etc. And the Badlands has bash plates, rock rails, sway-bar disconnect, aux switches, etc. all standard. Yes, it is true you won't have 35s from the factory, but I'd argue what you GAIN with the Badlands is worth ditching the 35s. You can always add 35s down the road (Badlands doesn't need a lift to add them).

Without the Base trim, the Sasquatch package for the manual transmission is effectively dead. There is ZERO reason to buy the Sasquatch package with the manual transmission unless you just enjoy burning money.

ALSO.... you cannot currently order a 7-speed manual transmission... so I worry your dealer placed an order for an automatic (or maybe he placed a stock order?). Either way, better call them tomorrow because Ford schedules on Thursdays, and you don't want to get "lucky" and get your Big Bend order scheduled for production.

(And I just won $100.... awwwwwwwww yeah.)

So many options. So a Badlands gets you the good stuff and sway bar disconnect but loses the high lift, bead locomotives tires and 35” tires right? Does it have wash out floors?

Also this will not likely be rock crawled but mostly see the beach here in NC so the extra clearance is a plus in the sand. I could second guess myself to date but just like the look of the Sasquatch wheels, tires and lift. I don’t like the BL wheels at all. I will check with the dealer and probably be a 2024 order.

I could be wrong (@RagnarKon please say so), but the washout floors are standard on Badlands. And if you think about it, 35" tires only net you 1" more of clearance since the 2" in wider diameter is divided top-to-bottom in half. Maybe those BL wheels will grow on you? Or you could add the Squatch wheels later on your own? I've seen them for sale elsewhere. Just don't buy anything on Instagram.

I think you get a little lift kit also plus the tires so the maximum clearance which is great in sand. I am going with my gut and also that orange trim is not for me. So BB, 2.3, 7 speed, sqautch, switches. If I can’t get this I will put a deposit down on an electric Scout when available.

Yeah @BuckYeah is correct, wash out flooring is standard on Badlands just like it is on Big Bend.

What you lose by going with Badlands non-Sas:

  • A very minor 0.43” lift. Less than half of an inch.
  • 35 inch tires
  • Beadlock-capable wheels

What you gain by going Badlands:

  • Sway-bar disconnect
  • LED signature lighting

It’s worth noting the Sasquatch wheels are only beadlock-capable, they are not actually beadlock wheels. The rings you get from the factory is just a trim piece because it’s against federal regulations to sell true beadlock wheels from the factory. So if you want to actually make them beadlock wheels that’s another ~$1000 (link).

The reason why I’m suggesting Badlands is because wheels and tires are super easy to add on aftermarket. Adding the sway-bar disconnect system is practically impossible.

But obviously the choice is up to you. Whichever you choose, I’d definitely make sure they ordered the manual transmission, because it’s not currently possible to place a 2023MY retail order for a manual. It’s possible they could have just placed a dummy order and left it un-buildable, but I wouldn’t want an automatic to show up when you ordered a manual.

I did consider the Heritage model as it’s well equipped but wanted white paint and the white top and wheels would challenge my OCD on cleaning lol. Plus it had cloth and heated seats. We plan on taking off the doors and top off and leaving it that way for as much as possible.

Well my Numbers did not hit last night so I don't have the extra $1.5 billion to play with, but if they did hit I would have ordered me a Nosquatch Badlands (but would have gone High package) 7-speed and would have ordered the Everglades wheels and 35's. this way I could drive a Bronco too since my wife has claimed my Everglades as hers.

The good thing about the Heritage is the Modular top. you can remove just the rear windows so you can roll top on windows down rear windows out and have an open air/ safari type ride. That would be appealing here with the past 1.5 months over 100 degrees and haven't seen a cloud in almost 2 months, my 1/4 Irish ancestry doesn't do well with the sun.

Not to mention the non sas badlands doesn't have the 1/2" bump stops the sas does for the 35s so you have more travel.

For what you want get the Badlands with Sasquatch and be done with it. You will be happier.
