Wife had to put gas in the tank of her car today - she texted me in shock, it's back up to $6.10 for super (91 octane).

Wow! California sucks!! In Indiana, 87 Octane was $2.91 this morning at one station. I gassed up the old truck last night for $3.34, and 93 Octane was $4.26

I'm sure 87 will be back up to $5 by Saturday morning, though. ;)

I guess the fact that we're down to 1 car right now (because I sold my truck in anticipation of the Bronco's arrival) is a silver lining. As much as the gas prices do suck, I do love CA though.

Whoa! It's $3.75 in Northern Indiana. I need to move south. :LOL:

That is another reason that I am not planning on moving to California. It is a beautiful state but I can't afford to live there in the standards I am accustomed too here in SC. However, at some point in my life I hope to drive the coast from the north to the south with my wife, in a nice sporty convertible. I have been told that the drive is amazing and worth the trip.:cool:

They will just fee the heck out of them, tariffs and such. Remember though, the 2035 Electric transition effects tje manufacture of NEW CARS, they haven't voted to destroy the already existing ICE vehicles yet.

"Sorry that you are stuck on the side of the road, the tow truck is still charging and has about another three hours left."

Yesterday, rail tracking showed that it was in Markham, IL... just now, I called and it's in Riverdale, IL - 6 miles from Markham. This is going to take a while to get to CA at this rate of 6 miles a day!
