Ford Order Tracker

Hi all. Like everyone else, my Badlands production date has been pushed back a few times. In more recent emails from Ford, there has been a “Track Your Order” link, which pulls up a screen that’s supposed to track where your order is in the production process. Problem is, on that link, my vehicle still says “Order Received” (or something similar) and doesn’t say it’s been scheduled for production, even though I’ve received several emails that say otherwise. Is anyone else having this issue when they click that link? Just looking for a little reassurance here. Thanks!

Good to know I’m not alone (but also sucks that it’s happening to others too). Dealer has been pretty much useless this entire time (“You’ll know it’s arrived before we do!”) which is of course wildly unhelpful, but what can you do?:cautious:

A lot of us have heard this as well and it’s not accurate. Your dealer has access to WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering system) and the Ford vehicle visibility system with 24/7 access to your order. It’s possible your salesman hasn’t been trained and may not have access. The new car sales manager, inventory manager, or general manager will have access. Ask your dealer for a vehicle visibility status report on your order. It has the most current info.

If you’re curious about the ordering process, the Blue Oval forum is a great resource. This thread explains it all: https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63667-ford-vehicle-ordering-scheduling-process/

What website are you going to for this order tracker? First I've heard of this "Track Your Order" link but certainly not surprised.

https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
Then you just put in your VIN and it’ll show that screen I originally posted above. I got the link in a “Your Production Date Has Changed” email from Ford.

Communicated with moderator, David, last night - this feature is apparently for the Bronco Sport. But thanks.

I am posting in the Sport forums, right? Someone else acted like I wasn’t and then deleted his comment before I could respond. (Not to be rude to you, I just don’t want to be posting in the wrong place.)

No, you're good... I saw the topic under "Current Discussions" and clicked on it... unknowingly it directed me into the Bronco Sport area. I was in the wrong area...

Just wanted to pop in and update everyone. It looks like the tracker IS updating with production, but the little graphic is not. At the top of the page, mine now says "In Production" (a week early--YAY!), but the little tracking bar still says "Order Processing." Maybe worth keeping an eye on. My window sticker just became available too--exciting!

you may check with your dealer. I got my VIN around the time my vehicle was scheduled for production via Ford email, if I remember correctly. Hope that helps!

VIN is assigned when your order gets picked up by the assembly plant and a build week assigned.

Looks like Ford may have improved/fixed Ford Vehicle Order Tracking link with the latest update that added the requirement for your order number. My FE was scheduled to build this week on 3/17 (date provided by my dealer). Beginning early on 3/18 the Ford link followed my order from in production 3/17 to built 3/18 and finally a shipping estimate 22 days and delivery estimate of 4/24.

Hope this works as smoothly for everyone as it did for me.

I didn't receive anything!!!! My reservation was 07/20/2020. I just got a call from my dealer yesterday! He said "you want a base 2-door"? yes. I said Yes....he said i will order it.....I said HEY!!!!! I want Sasquatch and some other options too! He tells me to e-mail him..... Mind You i e-mailed the dealer twice...no response. I ranted here about two months ago about not hearing anything.... I went to Coconut Point Ford and they did help me. But the number they gave me was ALWAYS stacked with people trying to talk to someone. How do I know if my dealer placed my order?

You have until today to convert your reservation to an order. It sometimes can take a few days to get the information to you. If they called you yesterday to order you should be good. Just call your salesperson tomorrow and make sure he has all your information and email address. And ask him when you can expect your confirmation email. If you haven’t done so create an account on Ford.com that way they also email you directly. Then you can log in and check your progress. You are talking about full sized Bronco not the sport?

Mine has shipped—delivery estimate is now 4/15. Getting a little peeved though. My dealer told me I was the first order they placed, and yet they’re somehow ending up with vehicles with the exact same specs on the lot to be sold while mine still isn’t here. Wondering at this point what the benefit of pre-ordering is supposed to be.

No, talking about the Bronco Sport, but I bet they were tweaking their order tracking link in prep for the big Bronco orders.

I got order confirmation on the 18th of March for my 2021 Wildtrak. What link/links do I use to track it? Do I need to wait a little longer for additional emails? My dealer was a little clueless.
