Fed up with Ford...

My Bronco completed production the first week of September. It was released by Ford to the CSX Rail on November 12th. Its been sitting in Blue Island Illinois since November 26th in a rail car and hasn't moved according to Ford customer service and my dealer. No one knows anything on the delay and no one seems to care. My salesman just says "Im so puzzled by this" The longer I wait for it to get here, the lower my trade value is worth and the higher the interest rates are. This whole thing is beyond frustrating as I see 2023's coming into my dealer on a regular basis but my 2022 is just been sitting for 2 months in a rail yard. At this point I don't even want the da*n Bronco anymore... Sorry for the rant..

Hey look at it this way at least your not paying on a Bronco you don't have yet. My Bronco has been at the dealer waiting on parts and their response to me is.... The parts are on backorder and Ford has no ETA. So yeah I'm shelling money for something I can't use. Lol

Hope they get it to you soon though!

Ford as the parts you need but they’d rather put them on a bronco on the assembly line and make more money before they worry about taking care of customers that already have one. We all need to bow to Ford and thank them for letting us buy a bronco or any other Ford for that matter. I hope you get the parts you need soon. Good luck.

We are a Ford family at my house but these last few years have definitely stressed our relationship a bit. I just hope everyone that has a reservation will get theirs this year as it feels long overdue.

They just announced their earnings and missed, blamed execution errors. Big surprise there 😳 . FWIW, I do love my new Bronco but just bought a new Silverado. It is 10x better than the POS ‘19 F150 I came out of and I have only owned broncos and F150s for the past 35 years. Always disliked Chevy, no more. Hope they learn something from their mistakes because it is costing them customers.

After taking 4 months for delivery they called and said it was ready. They offered me a $1550 discount off MSRP because its a 2022 and already a model year old and its taken so long. Does this sound about right?

Glad to hear the Bronco made it to you! The discount for a previous year model seems right.

Wow I am shocked they even did that! Congrats on it finally arriving.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

Take it and run! Some people are paying over MSRP for a '22 right now. Once you get it, all of this pain will soon be forgotten. Don't let the small number of Bronco's that have issue distract you from the vast majority of us who have had no problems (*knock on wood*) and are having a ton if fun with the Bronco every day. I've had mine for a year, and I still smile every time I get into it! We take her out into the dirt at least once per month, and the fun is non-stop.

That doesn't sound like it covers the price increase over the 23s.

I waited a FULL two years for our B... Got EXACTLY what I wanted and I LOVE my B every bit more as result....
My absolute first Ford and well American car ... If I could do it over again -- I sure would.

Absolute zero plans to EVER get rid of my B.... and that's not even after a year of ownership.

Will say -- I took a diff approach .. Was patient. It paid off for me ... Our dealership and sales associate were nothing short of amazing throughout the whole entire well wait ... From random updates to pictures to emails to triaging any changes or question we had ...

I couldn't have asked for a better experience... Hope things turn around for you --- whichever car you go with. Best of luck .
