No Sasquatch Package, No Problem: Why Any Bronco Owner Can Tackle Off-Roadeo

Because your dealer didn’t tell you. Because someone said you had to have the Sasquatch Package to go. Because you’re not ready to go off-road in your own Bronco yet.

These are just a few reasons I frequently see posted on Facebook groups and in forum threads of why people haven’t attended Bronco Off-Roadeo, or worse, missed their opportunity.

You might be thinking about similar obstacles, and that’s why I’m writing about the complimentary owner experience again: I’ve gained so much from Off-Roadeo, from skill growth to friends, that I feel like it’s my duty to talk about signing up and attending, in case you can benefit as well.

What’s Bronco Off-Roadeo?

Your Bronco, Bronco Raptor, or Sport came with a lot of off-road features. These are features you may not be using yet but that make the vehicle everything you bought into –– cool, capable, and worth showing off. And the best place to learn more about these tools and become a better driver on any terrain is at one of Bronco Off-Roadeo’s five locations, Ford’s training grounds for the Built Wild beasts. That’s why your vehicle purchase includes one visit to Bronco Off-Roadeo!

You don’t have to worry about scratching your Bronco. There, behind the wheel of a provided Bronco vehicle, on each set of purposely curated trails mapped out to show you exactly what Broncos can do, expert trail guides take you through an easy-to-learn-from experience that’ll teach you, challenge you, and leave you wanting to take on more back home in your own vehicle.

You don’t need to have ever gone off-road before, but you won’t be bored if you have. No experience is necessary. Even for me, with a lot of off-roading hours before I came to the Bronco brand and a lot of off-roading trips over the last five years, I still pick up tips or get better at a skill every time I’ve attended.

You will feel equipped to handle everything the day brings. You start out the day getting familiar with the vehicle’s tools and trail techniques, then after you and your group is warmed up, head out on the trails. The day gets progressively more difficult, but you’re ready for the obstacles as they come. After lunch, the fun continues, and by the end of the day, you’re well into mentally planning the next time you can get off-road.

Who Can Attend Bronco Off-Roadeo?

One (1) Bronco Off-Roadeo experience is included with a vehicle purchase. This credit is available to the vehicle owner as long as the complimentary visit to Bronco Off-Roadeo has not been previously redeemed and has not expired.

Complimentary Bronco Off-Roadeo owner credits for 2021, 2022, and 2023 model year vehicles have expired and may no longer be redeemed.

If you own a 2021-2023 and didn’t get to attend, or if you used your credit and would like to go again to the same location or a new one, we’ll cover some options for you at the end of this article.

All trims qualify for Bronco Off-Roadeo, and remember, you will not be taking your own Bronco on the trails during your owner experience. You will drive an Off-Roadeo Bronco, letting you focus on learning rather than what bash plates came underneath.

Price of Attending Bronco Off-Roadeo

Your owner credit covers the experience. There’s a $50 non-refundable reservation fee, and a $150 refundable owner deposit is collected at the time of registration and will be refunded after attending your Off-Roadeo event and after taking delivery of your vehicle, if you have not yet taken delivery.

Additional guests (up to 3) are $195 each, plus tax. Lots of people bring a guest, and lots come alone. If you are showing up solo, you may even get to be in the lead vehicle, which gets even more one-on-one time with a guide.

Which Bronco Off-Roadeo Location Should I Attend?

Bronco owners can attend any of these five locations (note: New Hampshire closed for the ski season on November 1). Sport owners, there’s an experience for you in Moab and Tennessee. Raptor owners have a dedicated playground in Nevada.
