Today, Ford introduced the 2024 Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package, a combination of Shadow Black and matte black accents.
The Black Appearance Package comes with a Shadow Black painted roof complemented by matching mirror caps, a painted roll bar, and fender flares. This top is the Modular Hard Top, complete with removable rear windows. Interestingly, Bronco Ambassador Chase Gentry reports it is not made by Webasto, the manufacturer of the Molded-In-Color (MIC) tops. This roof comes with new Accessory Ready mounting points and magnetic sound-dampening headliner panels.
The Raptor’s silver front skid plate is replaced with a matte black version, and the tow hooks and steel bumper are matte black as well. According to Ford, the painted plate comes in response to current Bronco Raptor customers who have painted the skid plates themselves.
Body-side and hood decals round out the package’s $4,995 MSRP, which can be ordered at the end of April.
The package was revealed this afternoon at Bronco Off-Roadeo Texas, right after the eclipse.
“Customers choose Bronco Raptor for two reasons: its high-performance off-road capability and its distinctive appearance,” said Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde. “The Black Appearance gives them a look that stands out on any trail and under any sky, even a total solar eclipse.”
Bronco Family Appearance Packages
Raptor’s newest appearance package is the third to be rolled out for the Bronco and Sport.
In July of 2023, Ford introduced the Black Appearance Package for the Bronco Sport Big Bend, which featured matte black wheels and hood graphics, plus a Shadow Black painted roof, black badges, and a smoked chrome Ford Oval logo for $1,750.
Prior to today, the only appearance package for big Bronco was the Bronco Raptor's Code Orange Package, announced in August 2023. With it, you could get Code Orange seat belts and tow hooks, a graphics pack, body-color painted mirror caps, and orange beauty rings on any color Raptor except Hot Pepper Red for $2,495.
