On Monday, March 30, the 2026 Job 2 order banks opened for the Bronco Sport. For those unfamiliar with the term, Job 2 is when Ford adjusts its lineup for the second half of the model year’s production. Typical changes include new colors, package and options updates, and pricing increases or decreases.

In this round, the highlights include an MSRP price drop on Badlands, optional features now standard on Outer Banks, and a greater ability to add the features you want and avoid paying for ones you don’t plan to use.

Lower MSRP on 2026 Badlands

At the beginning of the 2026 model year, what’s known as Job 1, Bronco Sport Badlands started at $38,265. Ford has adjusted the price to $37,265, making it easier on your bank account to get into its most capable trim.

The other trim levels keep Job 1 pricing:

  • Big Bend: $31,845
  • Heritage: $33,395
  • Outer Banks: $35,145

As with the Bronco, Sport Badlands is a powerful trim. Ford has designed it as the pinnacle of off-road performance in the model’s lineup: It is the only Sport with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine, the most underbody protection, and even without the Sasquatch Package, it has the most clearance and the twin clutch rear drive unit –– Sport’s version of a rear locker –– as standard.

Sport Badlands will get you to many of the same places the majority of Bronco owners will go; we’ve tailed a Bronco Badlands on 33” tires and one on 37s just fine. The motor company packed plenty of Built Wild DNA into the smaller Bronco, making it a great vehicle to own if you like to off-road but don’t want the additional cost of the bigger Bronco SUV. And frankly, even if you don’t off-road now, there’s no shame in wanting the best, just in case!

For ’26 Job 2, the price cutback come from moving some standard features to choices, so you can gain the capability of Badlands without the cost of items that may be less important to someone after a rugged adventure vehicle. I have a 2021 Bronco Badlands, and that's the strategy I used to spec my perfect vehicle. I wanted all the capability Bronco offered at the time but didn’t want the cost of every luxury option available.

The Badlands Tech Package ($2,295) includes the premium sound system, voice-activated connected nav, HD radio, and noise reduction module, and now, the heated steering wheel, 6-way power passenger seat, memory driver seat and sideview mirror, and the keyfob remote start, plus the Leather Dove Gray with Yellow Accent seats.

If those features aren't why you're getting this trim, you can enjoy having the top Sport off-roader without adding the package. However, if you do want it all on Badlands, what could have been savings becomes a $300 increase.

From this grouping, remote start from the keyfob is a nice feature and one I have with my Bronco. However, for range and ease, since my phone is basically glued to my hand, I use the Ford App to start my vehicle much more. So if you’re on the fence about adding the Tech Package to your Sport Badlands and don’t want to lose the ability to remote start your Sport, know that owners of a Job 2 2026 will have the app’s convenience either way.

New Standard Equipment to the Trims

For the second half of 2026 model year production:

  • Outer Banks receives body color door handles as standard.
  • Badlands gets ActiveX-Trimmed with Perforation as the new standard seating, plus 2-way manual head restraints and 6-way manual passenger seating.

Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks can add the Interior Protection Package ($395), which includes the cargo mat, front and rear floor liners, and second row rubberized seatback mat.
