Ford’s 2026 Bronco Sport lineup adds a new Bronze Appearance Package that was on display at the Detroit Auto Show last week. This gives the Sport a unique look both outside and inside. Starting at $31,695, this is what’s on it.
Bronze Appearance Package: What You Get
Available now on the Big Bend trim, with the photo featuring the vehicle in Space White Metallic, the Bronze Package centers on some eye-catching bronze-tone accents and premium touches that include:
Exterior Highlights
- 17″ Sinister Bronze-painted aluminum wheels
- Bronze “BRONCO” lettering on grille with an Ebony Black background
- Bronze badges and color matched door handles
- Painted Shadow Black roof with body-color door handles except on the Shadow Black color option
Interior
- Premium seats with bronze/Canyon stitching
- All-weather floor liners with bronze accents
- Cargo mat with bronze detailing
- Bronze detailing on door and around center display screen
- Premium wrapped steering wheel with bronze stitching
- Sport contour buckets and front seat back map pockets on Big Bend with Convenience Package equipped variants
While not a performance upgrade, this package gives the Bronco Sport a distinct, high-end appearance, mixing rugged utility with a touch of style, call it a subtle upgrade. The upcharge is $1,500, so it’s not too expensive to get that differentiating look right from the dealership. It is interesting to note that the Bronze appearance package is not available with paint colors Orange Fury Metallic or Ruby Red Metallic. Maybe the designers couldn’t take the looks of that combination?
Bronze + Black Diamond on the Big Bend
Ford also offers a Bronze + Black Diamond Off-Road Package for Big Bend that combines the look with most of the Sasquatch off-road features including rugged hardware like recovery hooks, steel bumpers, skid plates, Pro Power Onboard, and the Class II Tow package with the receiver and a full sized spare tire, along with an all-terrain tire upgrade, bringing capability and style together.
The Black Diamond upgrade is an additional $1,895.00 but combining it with Bronze appearance offers a $500 overall discount, so you get both packages for $2895.00. On the Ford pricing site, my total with destination was $36,735.
2026 vs. 2025: Trim and Feature Changes Across the Lineup
While most of the Bronco Sport’s mechanical foundation remains familiar, the 2026 model year introduces some styling and packaging changes, with some features added, others shuffled or removed compared to 2025.
Features That Changed
Some features that were standard or more widely available on 2025 models have shifted in the 2026 lineup:
- Smaller digital instrument cluster — 2026 standard cluster reverts to an 8″ display in many trims, replacing the larger 12.3″ screen common on 2025 models.
- Wireless charger pad not standard — moved to optional status or dropped on certain trims.
- Universal garage door opener removed — no longer standard equipment in 2026 and now optionally packaged.
- Rain-sensing wipers — may no longer be offered or standard in places they were on the 2025 model.
- Black Diamond Off-Road Package — some of the convenience items once bundled here (like cargo management, mats, fender tie-downs, and floodlights) have been unbundled in 2026, though the bones of the package remain.
Trim Level Notes
The familiar Bronco Sport trims still form the backbone of the lineup. Big Bend continues as the platform for styling upgrades like Bronze and Black Appearance Packages; Outer Banks stays as the more comfort-oriented trim; and Badlands retains the more aggressive off-road powertrain and AWD hardware. Interestingly enough though, the Sasquatch option, which is available on both the Outer Banks and Badlands trim prices out to allow the 2.0 4-cylinder, offered only on the Badlands trim, to be slightly cheaper than the 1.5l 3-cylinder. On the Outer Banks, the upgrade to Sasquatch requires an additional upgrade to the Outer Banks tech package, adding over $6,000 to the base cost, while the Badlands only requires the Sasquatch upgrade at $2,495.00. My build and price has the Outer Banks Sasquatch at $44,995 and the Badlands Sasquatch at $44,755.

What This Means for Bronco Nation Enthusiasts
If you’re all about customization and standout styling, the 2026 Bronco Sport with the Bronze Appearance Package might be for you, especially when combined with off-road upgrades like the Black Diamond hardware. The bronze theme not only sets your ride apart visually, it also gives a premium feel without stepping into a higher trim price bracket.
At the end of the day, 2026 is about fine-tuning and fresh looks while keeping the Sport’s trail-proven DNA intact. For folks who prioritize aesthetics and personalization, this year’s updates give buyers new ways to make their Bronco Sport uniquely theirs, whether that’s on the trail, at camp, or cruising town.
