Just received this email from Ashlie at Chapman Ford in regards to my order. Looks like to be considered for scheduling you have to drop the hardtop, Sasquatch package and LUX package if you have them in your build.

UPDATE: There are pretty big discussions going on over on B6G about this. Ashlie herself has made a few replies. And many others have confirmed this information.

No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Hi…

Hope all is well! Unfortunately, Ford has made us aware that customers with orders that have hardtops/LUX pkg/Sasquatch pkg will need to modify their order to drop these items for scheduling consideration.

If these changes are made by January 21st, Ford claims they will be issuing a certificate/private offer to the customer.

According to the information we received, if the changes are not made and the order flips to the new model year, Ford’s price protection program will expire.

At this time, we do not have definitive information on the certificate amount or how it will affect Ford’s price protection certificates…

We appreciate your patience and understanding…please let us know how you would like to proceed

I don't really trust a message board's interpretation of an unsourced email, from a dealer telling us what they heard in a zoom call.

It makes sense that there are supply & production issues with popular features like hard top/SAS/Lux. So it makes sense that Ford would pressure reservation holders to make changes or be pushed back to MY 24. It makes sense that a dealer would hint at losing price protection to incentivize reservations holders to make changes. But seeing how Ford changed the price protection/private offer system this year, there is absolutely no reason Ford wouldn't extend private offer letter or just create a option "C" for orders that get rolled to 2024. All of this is bad news for the rumored February order bank opening for new orders.

First of all what is your reasoning for saying the email is unsourced??? Second Zoom is how most dealer communication is done these days. Other dealers were in on the call with FORD . If you read through the thread the information has also been reported from other dealers. This is not just one dealer making something up to get the world in an uproar.

These items will continue to schedule as normal if you choose to take the risk of dealing with commodities. So please do not believe what you are seeing in some other places about these no longer being produced or scheduled.

What's new here is that Ford just isn't going to let orders roll over into 2024. They are going to schedule all orders in mid Feb through March and any orders that do not get scheduled will be sweeped. The items that are likely to cause not getting scheduled is the MIC, Sasquatch, and LUX. Those are the things they know they won't have enough of to fill all the current orders.

Hoping for a little TRANSPARENCY particularly for those of us who have had orders in since ‘21.

Isn’t 800+ days enough to secure my MIC, Lux, Sasquatch components?

Where is your MRP system expertise and process check FMC?

You can do better then SAS going aftermarket for less. Heck alot of the Raptor suspension and such you can get. You're probably spot on though.

Don't forget that M210 electronically locked front diff with cv's is 6.5K aftermarket.

Maybe a Ford, “Official “ can chime in on this thread and clarify whether or not this is accurate information.
Ford being up front and honest. That’s just funny.🤣🤣🤣

I still think it may be because they would rather save all of those Sasquatch parts for the Heritage, Everglades and Wildtrak. They would look even more stupid than they already do offering yet another new trim (Heritage) and not have enough parts to make them. Everglades and Wildtrak are both high dollar trims. More return than a base or Big Bend Sasquatch.
I’ve got $20 bucks that says your right on the mark. 🤣

That's interesting and concerning because I have all three of those and I have a blend date of 1/19/23. Received my window sticker a couple of days ago.

That 2 Door Sasquatch crowd is about to loose their ever loving minds...
And understandably so.

So disappointing FORD..

2dr Base Squatch 2.7 here. Reserved Aug of 2020 AMB. MY22 had COVP verified by Ford, e-mail to dealer and me, went priority code 10 all year.............not built.

MY23 re re-order with COVP and PC changed to a 2 about 2 weeks ago by Ford. .........now this.

If it pans out this way for me it will burn deep.

note: not at a discount dealer, just my local guy I've known for years.

And now it looks like the Wildtrak might be going away. They are pushing people with Wildtrak orders to switch to a Badlands, OB or Big Bend and take a $2500 credit. Adds more cred to my theory that they are trying to save the Sasquatch parts for the Heritage and Everglades.

So now should I change my 2DR Basesquatch order to a Heritage????? Or is it you can't get a 2dr because of the Hardtop??? but then I would probably loose my PC2 in the process. Then I'm back in the same boat as before. Not getting built because of my small dealer allocation debacle Ford has created. Too many grey areas. Guess I just have to wait until Monday to see the details.

Ok so nothing has changed here people the same issues and constraints that have been in play are still in play. This has been exactly the same since January of 2021. If you want it faster take stuff off. Otherwise wait. If you are at a larger dealership with a ton of orders, you are gonna wait. Start checking at different dealerships. They are getting lower variations as stock orders, and because they have lower numbers waiting, are going to get some better optioned vehicles also. If anyone is interested, my dealership has a 2 door, CG BL Sasquatch auto in stock and available. It is used with 400 miles on it.
The owner traded it back in on a BRaptor. Here in AZ. If anyone is interested in it DM and. Will give you a good contact at the dealership. As of yesterday it was still at the dealership.

Only a rumor, but sasquatch may have multiple issues, one of them being the tires are hard to come by.
So far, they only said MIC tops. 4 door is the only place that is optional. So you'll need to wait until next week when the dealers get more information and clarity on what they mean by MIC constraints. I feel this is only on the 4door that it's a commodity issue but wait to go crazy until you have more information.

There’s a little more at play this time. People need to decide they want to drop these options and get the private offer on top of raising their chances of getting built. Or do they want to keep their orders as-is and risk not only not getting built for MY23, but also losing all price protection money if they get rolled over to 2024.

2023 orders will not be rolled into 2024. That conversion program is ending.
