And if we add a winch??

My question exactly. Add to the list of problems:
- California
- Trail camera
- Winch

Gonna be kinda busy up there.

On a lighter note, picked these up today:

Hey all! Here is my solution dealing with mandatory front license plates. Needed to modify due to the sensor.

Sure rub salt in that wound. Lol. I'm just hoping they don't install my bracket since they've been asked not to.

Optional in Wyoming. Opt to not have it installed from your dealer and put it where you want it?

The Front License Plate Bracket: 153 should appear as a separate line item on your WBDO pdf printout if it was ordered. In New Hampshire, we do require a front license plate. However, I did ask my dealer the following;

Could you add the following notes to my file?
  • Please do not place any dealer identifiers on the vehicle?
  • Do not mount the front license plate holder. Place in the truck for the owner to install.
Hey, I'm a fellow New Hampshirite. Was your dealer cool with your requests? Thinking about asking mine to do the same....

Question: How many months of the year can you even read the front license plate in New Hampshire without a scraper?

Actually, we do not have snow/ice all twelve months each year. During the months it is not snowing, the plate is covered with dead black flies! ;)

California front license plate required only if DMV issued a front license plate, virtually all passenger vehicles. If only rear issued, like commercial trucks, then no front plate required.

Out of state without front license plate is OK in California.

So we technically have no law requiring front plates. Selectively required by plate issuing DMV. This is FUS.

Man I didn’t know that. Good for Ohio! I don’t understand why more states don’t go to one plate. The cost savings would be HUGE for the government (since obviously they would still charge us the same, maybe higher if they get rid of front plates.)

Key word in there is "Government" Ask any business, if you could cut your cost in half, but maintain the same current income, would you do it? And they would all of course say yes.

You're on your game @Soupcook. The acid in their bodies can eat the paint off your auto lickety-split.

Great minds think alike! Told them the same thing after I test drove their demonstrator for two hours Saturday and looked at the plate placement. Not for me!
I wasn't there...
