I think I need a sanity check. Last evening while parked, the vehicle off I began hearing a series of unusual noises coming from my new bronco. I would like to speak to someone from ford about this.

Think you’ve got OCD, @OrangecrushBronco? I’ll sometimes click the lock button on the key fob twice just to hear the horn honk so I know it’s locked. They should make it whinny when you do that. 🤪

Me too! Lol. My wife and son are starting to think I'm crazy. It's nothing new for me but the Bronco has a much louder horn.

As others have mentioned these noises are completely normal. Upon shutdown if you sit in the truck it is waiting to figure out what is next as the fob is still in the cab. There is some sort of order of operations with the computer for shutdown that causes the clicks and whatnot.

I also own a '21 Explorer with the 2.3 and it does the exact same thing as my '21 Bronco with noises.

Back in 1983 there was a vehicle that was ahead of its time that continued to run even after you shut it off...

What a classic! Clark Griswold family approved. 🤪
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I hear the same sounds. Sometimes if I'm just in the garage near the Bronco it will click and whir as I approach it (no key in-hand). Probably something with the many cameras detecting movement or something.
