I cannot turn off traction control using the hero switch. Has anyone else had this issue or familiar with it?

Have you tried holding it down for 5 seconds?

Traction Control and Stability Control are two different things and enabled/disabled different ways. These two pages from the Owner's Manual, available for download at this link, may help.

It sounds like the OP is pressing the button and nothing is happening, per the owner's manual instructions?

I appreciate you showing me these. I've read the manual front to back and unfortunately, it still didn't work.

Mine works per the manual. Momentary for TC off, hold for SC off (even get a time down bar on the screen).



Normal goat? Maybe some goats prevent changes?

My order is looking at 2023. Spoke with my dealer yesterday. My current one, a friend called me and said a customer turned it down. So I picked it up same day. It had everything I wanted. I got very, very lucky. I’m still contemplating on keeping my order.

If you have the window sticker, it would have the blend date, which might be interesting to know. I don't know where 14U is heading with this, but I'm curious if you got one of the last ones to ship out before they stopped shipping due to the "chip shortage". There's a rumor that a lot of those that are parked actually had their chips, but that there was a "bad batch" of chips. So, as you can see, it would be interesting to know when your's got built since it might be one that got a "bad chip" but didn't get held

Curious if you switch to Baja does traction control shut off?

It does switch off in Baja and other goat mode automatically, but not manual with the hero switch.

I posted a copy of the sticker.

This same thing is happening to me. The hero switch doesn't do anything in normal mode, whether you tap it, press it, hold it, hit it 23 times. In other GOAT modes traction control turns off with the mode setup but still nothing with the hero switch.

Really ANNOYING the hero switch does nothing. I see an ABS fault in FORScan that won’t trip check engine or computer, just registers. I’ll see if there is a code I can drop here.

I also have a 2 door badlands sasquatch 2.7tt. Our builds look almost exactly the same, except you have the LUX package and I have the HIGH.
