Throwing Codes

I have been putting off on addressing this issue for a bit now. My 2022 Bronco has periodically had issues with throwing wrenches and various drive train malfunction codes over the last 8 months or so. Been into the shop at least 4-5 times with no set culprit. Various fixes have been done that temporarily take care of the issue for a while. Increasingly I have been getting codes and Nag has been in the shop.
At the end of April and after a Baja trip, followed up with a two day trip up to Moab, it threw drivetrain malfunction codes in Moab and a week later in Arizona. Altitude always seem to be involved and the codes always went away and never effected the drivability of the vehicle. I took it in and the coil pack, plug and fuel rail on the #4 cylinder/drivers side were replaced.
A week and a half ago while driving my trailer to the RV store driving on the highway at 60 MPH, the engine light started flashing and it went into limp mode. I was able to exit and pull into the RV store. After dropping the trailer and getting the Bronco taken to the nearest dealership it was left for the experts.
After a week of changing plugs, same coil pack and fuel rail, along with internal inspection, the same issue arose. The new injector again was stuck in the open position flooding the #4 cylinder with fuel and fried injector, plug, and coil pack. They discovered that the PCM was bad. The PCM was changed and the engine got worse.
As of today it appears that the original PCM was going bad and was slowly shorting out the coil pack and in turn causing flooding of the system and gradually destroying the #4 cylinder. It no longer has compression in #4 and they will be running the scope down again and submitting the documentation to the engineers. Looks like it is time for a new engine.
Fortunately it will be covered by warranty.
