My 2022 has a Ford installed Rigid light bar, and has been working fine for the last year. I had the roof seal replaced due to leaks over the dash. Picked up the Bronco and a nice soaking rain, yipee, no leaks.

However my light bar now only comes on in the daytime and will not turn on at night. Any suggestions, anyone else have something similar. Called Ford but haven't received call back yet.

Does it work at night if you turn your headlights off? Or is it really only working in daylight?
My trailer lights only work if I have my headlights on. I bet it is a forescan thing.

But I am glad they fixed your leak.

Very odd. It is obviously a wiring issue. I assume it is on a relay. That would mean the the relay trigger is only sending signal when the headlights are off???? I would think the issue has to be the relay trigger... But yet you must have it on an auxiliary switch. Do you have the factory Aux switches? do the other aux switches work in the dark?

Will try that, I was driving, will give it a shot tonight. Shouldn't be forescan, this is wired to the upfitter switches.

Factory Aux switches. Yes the 2 other lights I have work fine day and night. They would have removed the light bar to fix the leak so I am assuming it is something about the re install. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Okay so your aux switch is running a relay located in the bottom side of the fuse box (six aux switches and 6 relays.)...... The original installer may have installed a secondary relay for the light bar. I would look closely at where this relay is being fed from. Something was changed if it was working before. The fact that the other aux switches and related relays are working means the issue has to be downstream of the fuse box (I believe the high load power for the relays is fed from a common bus...That is my assumption).... Really odd that they would have touched any of that wiring but that is the only thing that makes any sense to me.

I agree, no reason for them to have been in that area, but I will take a look, thanks.

Traced wiring and everything looks "normal" according to the wiring diagrams for the upfitter switches. More trouble shooting tonight when it gets dark.

Head lights on or off during daytime, light bar works. Going to test after dark.

Yes super weird. Are you using the auto lights setting at night but turning them on manually in the day? If so, get in a dark garage or something to test during the day in auto mode. Just a thought. Good luck.
