Rear of Soft Top Coming Apart

Anyone see this happening by chance? My MY21 Badlands just turned one year old and have it parked due to bad weather because of the rear corner of the soft top coming apart. There are some very small and very feeble clips that appear to have broken off and at this point, this opening acts as a funnel for incoming rain and snow as you drive down the road. Took it into my dealer for warranty review for which a fix has been approved but no progress/updates/return calls/etc. Sounds like Ford may have devised a grommet system that will fix this, but I tell you, if I have any round fixtures on the exterior of this soft top with the repair, it isn't going to fly. If you go back there and look, you'll see that this part is the entire rear panel which to me, might make more sense to replace rather than a McGyver attempt. By chance has anyone seen this and had a satisfactory fix to it?

Cheers, long live Badlands!

Check out my post here look for TSB-22-2055 under the structure category. It has a pdf that details the fix. I think page 3. No exposed rivets on the outside.

That's exactly the fix! Thank you so much, and thanks for the resources on the NTSB site. Tons to see there. Cheers.

Hi there! If you can send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information, I'd be happy to look into things on my end.

Good morning! I can look into this concern for you on my end. Can you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info?

It's funny I just noticed one of my clips broken this week too. Good thing I found that TSB above before. I planned to bring it up when I go in for safety inspection this month.

I brought it to dealer and they ordered a replacement back window piece, but this soft top needs a recall

Shop finally got mine in and rather than doing the TSB fix they replaced the back window piece which now does not have the little plastic clips that break. At this point only the side windows have yet to be replaced.

I need to get mine in for the same issue and this would be an optimal scenario for me. In spite of setting those panels in the back with kid gloves on, the back window managed to get a scuff type of scratch that just will not go away. Fingers crossed they give me a whole new panel.
