So I was at the dealership today getting routine maintenance on the Bronco. My service advisor, informed me that there was an advanced notice recall regarding the Sasquatch, Bilstein shocks. Mind you this is an advanced notice of recall, but one is coming. The recall information as follows: #25S01. Let‘s see how long this takes.

I am in the same boat exactly. And I work for my dealership. My buddy who is the service manager told me that at the time, (maybe August of 2025) they had customers who were just hearing back from Ford from over a year prior on various issues. I would almost be happy to get back the price for the rear shocks and the cost I paid for installation. And I had opened up a case with Ford prior, say April of 2025.Fuck Ford!!!! I replaced these shocks because they failed before the recall remedy. I call customer service and was told to take it to the dealer for an inspection . They inspected and closed out the recall. The dealer submitted my receipt for the parts. I never received a refund. I called the dealer, they didn’t know anything about it. I contacted customer service, they gave me an address to send reciepts, so I did. I grt a letter from Ford to go to the dealer. I’m done with dealing with thieves and assholes.

My son says the same thing, although his poor experiences have also been with Chevy. He has had much better luck with Toyota, and most recently, with KIA. Transparent, up front with information, and amazing customer service.all I wanted was the cost of the shocks. I think the dealer got the refund and outright stole it. I don’t care if they’re independent owned. They represent Ford. My next truck won’t be a Ford.
