I just picked up my new Raptor and I has had some minor issues with it: Has anyone else had these issues?
1. When sitting in the driver and passenger seat I can feel the metal frame through the seat padding.
2. Rear wiper inop.
3. Not a repair issue but a design flaw:
a. States that have front license plates and you have the active cruise control (ACC), there is no mounting location on the factory bumper for this. I had to mod the bumper.
b. Putting a safe in the center console; I could barely place my weapon through the slot. The Center console too small to really hold anything.

Agree, the center console safe opening could be bigger but plenty of room for my conceal carry to fit. I have a WildTrak though, but prob same safe.

1. When sitting in the driver and passenger seat I can feel the metal frame through the seat padding. - Might be a size issue based on your frame size vs. the seat's frame size. Most people find the Bronco seats comfortable.
2. Rear wiper inop. - Warranty issue.
3. Not a repair issue but a design flaw:
a. States that have front license plates and you have the active cruise control (ACC), there is no mounting location on the factory bumper for this. I had to mod the bumper. - Most people have devised a plate holder and location that suits their needs and doesn't block sensors. The aftermarket has plenty of solutions.
b. Putting a safe in the center console; I could barely place my weapon through the slot. The Center console too small to really hold anything. - Get a smaller gun.

+1 on the aftermarket front plate reloc — after dealership had drilled through the trim to install a front plate that is required in IL.

2023 Raptor here.
1. No issue with the seats here and I'm a big guy. They are very comfortable and supportive. But, who knows. Perhaps yours are not built correctly. Ask your dealership.
3a. For the front plate I used an aftermarket company called DV8. They have a front plate mount that mounts on the top edge of the skid plate and doesn't block sensors. I used it on both my wife's Badlands and my Raptor. It uses all your OEM hardware to mount, however I needed longer bolts for the Raptor as the skid plate bolts are inset a bit.
3b. I'm retired LE and mostly carry my weapon on my person. However. I have left it in the safe with no issue. I carry a medium frame 9m. I'm not sure what you're trying to get in there, perhaps a large frame revolver or a 1911, but for me it works fine.

For #2 - Did you confirm that the rear wiper wiring harness at the driver’s rear of the cargo area by the flip up glass is plugged in? If yes, unplug & re-plug.

Good catch! I didn't notice the OP said rear wiper. Yeah, check the harness connector first off.

Sounds like you have bad seats. Mine are really comfortable and everything I hear people really like the seats. Just spent 4 days on the road. 12 hours 1st day. 8 hours on a 5 rated trail in Moab 2nd Day. 3rd day 8 hours on a 6 rated trail and then 12 hour drive home 4th day. Also have done a five day trip all long days. Seats are great.

Stow and go is a good option for a front license plate.

1. When sitting in the driver and passenger seat I can feel the metal frame through the seat padding. My 23 Raptor does not have this issue. Might want to have yours checked.
2. Rear wiper inop. As someone already suggested, check the plug near the drivers side window in the cargo area.
3. Not a repair issue but a design flaw:
a. States that have front license plates and you have the active cruise control (ACC), there is no mounting location on the factory bumper for this. I had to mod the bumper. I just have mine on the passenger side of the dash, same thing I do with my RS.
b. Putting a safe in the center console; I could barely place my weapon through the slot. The Center console too small to really hold anything. Sorry, no experience with this issue.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?
