Just had to drop my 2024 (New) 4dr Wildtrak off at the dealer. Only had 1000 highway miles on it and getting ready to leave for Big Bear this morning the plans got killed. I went to open door and it didn't unlock. Ok, so used key and then noticed no interior lights. Hit the start button and that's when the dash lit up with every alert under the sun.
I opened hood to hear a bunch of clicks going on up near master cylinder/fuse box. Disconnected the negative terminal and called the service guys. Got to hand it to the Service man Eddie (Ford Poway) for taking my call off hours.
In the end...we concluded to tow it in using Ford roadside. Dropped it off and will update this feed once service opens Monday.

First and foremost, no mods yet. I haven't even attached my ditch lights from last Bronco yet.
Also, may post a better description of how to get a dead Bronco into neutral. The user manual description is $#it!

Guess it was better to have found this before getting out of my garage, than on the trail up in Big Bear.

My friend who’s new bronco died on him had to make 2 separate trips to the dealership, a total of 5 days of diagnostics, before they finally concluded a bad battery cell and replaced the battery! No problems since.

Had the same problem with my Fusion Energi. Got it brand new and shortly after, it did all of that. Luckily, they didn’t have it long and told me it was a bad cell. They told me its rare, but it happens to get a new car and the battery goes cause of a cell

It's funny but I have a similar incident with an 85 Scirocco I had. Went so far as changing the alternator...to end up having it be the battery.

Hello ALL!
Sounds like the Battery WAS the main culprit. Solution was new battery (and software update). I had mentioned some other QC misses on the body. There was a misaligned rear door and what appears to be an already bent lower tailgate hinge so they're handing to body shop to advise.

Might be a few more days, but happy to have progress on the issue that made it impossible to start/drive. Glad to have a 16 working hour solution vs some other's unfortunate experience of months/weeks. The guys at Aaron Ford Poway have been great through my last 3, Bronco Sport, 2dr WT and now 4dr WT.

I got it back! So Ford approved the work to body, so I have to take it back, but didn't want another day driving the loaner.
She's purring now. Good to note, as a lot of you commented, that a bad battery can sure make it seem like a bunch of bad stuff is going on...
Again, have to give the service team at Aaron Ford Poway a huge thumbs up for their speed and efficiency at handling this.

I attached pics of the rear door misalignment and hinge. Hard to tell (aside from maybe being sideways in the thumbnails), but that hinge is bent away from the body. And the rear driver side door sits out of line with the rear qtr panel. Ford said they'd fix it, unfortunately while I was already driving in. Eddie said he'd like to schedule it better with them anyway to expedite working time. Not like I haven't spent a few times using their wifi to work from the waiting room. 🤣

It helps remove SOME of the sting of making my first payment. 😂

Good to see they corrected the issues. Enjoy that new B!
