These are always fun....

What is some of your hobbies?

I'm a hobby hopper, I have several hobbies that I bounce from.

Right now I am getting back into bicycles... primarily E-bikes. I build my own e-bikes. I also have a Fuji Nevada 2.0 MTB that I hit trails with, it's 10 years old this year, but it still gets the job done. My newest e-bike is a Mongoose Malus fat tire, 48v 1500 electronics with 20ah battery, tonight I am putting new XT-100 brakes on it, and hoping to order a suspension fork in the coming weeks.

I am a huge gun nut, but right now I'm pretty satisfied with my collection. I have classic WWII guns, some modern sport guns, lots of bolt actions and some other fun ones.

In the spring I tend to get my RC cars out and play with them until I get tired of having to fix them. My wife absolutely hates this hobby, because it gets expensive really really fast and I tend to get burned out on it really fast. I have 2 short course trucks, E-maxx 3906 with brushless system, redcat everest gen7, a comp crawler that I built almost 15 years ago.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am a huge offroader, been into jeeps and offroading since I could walk. I build them, beat on them, tinker on them... you name it... but that is more of a life style than a hobby...lol...

I have only a couple outdoor "hobbies" related to the Bronco. Camping(in a tent) and kayaking. But I do have indoor hobbies like genealogy and always a big Movie fan from the classics to new releases.
Sad my 21 Bronco will now be a 22 and I hope not 23? Outer Banks, 4 door, Cactus Gray, Lux with towing and hardtop.

It is never ending as more records get added online but I have run into some brick walls. A lot of records were destroyed in Germany during WW2 so I cant track some of my ancestors that came from Europe.

Some branches are easier to trace than others. One branch of my family goes back to 1600s Massachusetts Bay Colony and another is only as far back as my great grandfather.

I have similar hobbies. I have a bunch of BMX Cruiser builds, one in process. Also a couple RC4WD crawlers I'm building as mini versions of my big toys. Still have a few Nitro Losi XXLs somewhere in the garage that my nephews are bugging me to resurrect.

We have a branch that had people that far back in the US and another branch in the Alsace-Lorraine area even further, I have a niece working on tracing it.

@llv1980 @Bronco5.0

I’ve traced mine back to Joseph Loomis on one branch. Are either of you 2 related to Joseph Loomis?

Genealogy is also one of mine. First ancestors that I’ve found so far came over in late 1590s with a grandmother born here in 1604.

I’ve also done the DNA test.

Turning my 13 year old son into a dungeous and dragons geek.
Good times.

Just ran the curse of strahd with him. Funny how the same campaigns I ran as a kid back in 1986 ... are still relevant.

Get's the kid off his screen for a while .... which is great.
awesome! back in the early 80's I was a huge AD&D nerd! so much fun, and great for the imagination! I didn't realize people still played.... is there a digital/online version now?
