Hey everyone! Need some help. I have the 2023 Bronco Sport and cannot get Apple CarPlay to connect wirelessly. I have the upgraded tech package as well. Do the Sport's not come with wireless CarPlay? Any help would be appreciated so I can figure out how to connect!

The Bronco Sport currently has the Sync 3 system, which only includes wired CarPlay.

Only the Sync 4, Sync 4a, and the new FDE system has wireless CarPlay.

Are you sure? I think it works for Apple but not android.

Now the sync system could be the issue...mine is due to be fixed Wednesday because it doesn't work at all half the time.

’Tis true, I’m afraid. I just got my BS with Sync 3 and found that CarPlay works only with a USB wired connection. You can connect the phone wirelessly via bluetooth and play music but not use maps and such.

If you don't mind a USB attached you can get wireless apple play. There is a lot on Amazon that you can find. Pricing will vary but I recommend getting AutoSky. https://amzn.to/3SM3HtD This is the one I have in my 2022 Bronco Sport and it works great with no lag but only connects to one phone at a time

Hi everyone, I echo Eufracio51's comments. I purchased this device from Amazon for around $42.00 and it works flawlessly.
All I had to do is bind the bluetooth to the appropriate setting and then wait until the sync discovers the device. I just used it on a 1300 mile trip over to Moab Utah and it works great! Be sure to plug in the USB to the center console under the dash as it is the only port to see apple carplay.

I bought a 23 Bronco Sport last week, and just installed Ottocast U2AIR Pro. Seems to work great!
