Hi!

I just purchased a 2025 Bronco Sport outerbanks. The dealer said they don't come with a spare and instead include a kit to patch/repair the tire temporarily. We prefer to have a spare in the back, and I do see an area under the cover in the trunk for one to go; however, I keep reading different things on Reddit.

Some say no spare/compact tire fits back there, others say a compact tire will fit, but don't specify size or where they got it.
I was looking at this spare from modern spare, but would like to make sure it would fit before we purchase.

Does anyone have any insight?
I appreciate it!

I am in the same boat. I want a buy temporary use spare that will fit in the 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend and permit the cover to close property. Can anyone share one that they have bought that fits and will work with the Bronco Sport Big Bend? I don't love the temporary spare solution but really don't want to rely on the can and pump. Thanks

So you want a tire that fits with the low cover correct? In that case, you're limited to the low profile or "donut" spare. See if your dealer can get the tire, plus the jack with lug wrench, and he bolt that holds it down. Or maybe try something like Ebay or FB Marketplace.

This jack https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/wheels-and-tires/wheel-parts/floor-jack-lifting-p-lj6z17080j?pdp=y Or really any jack that can lift a pinch weld safely.

Or maybe it's this jack, https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/wheels-and-tires/wheel-parts/jack-lifting-p-lj6z17080h?pdp=y
The description isn't clear at all.

This or another lug wrench, this one nestles neatly with the jack though, but others are a lot cheaper. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/w...parts/wheel-lug-wrench-nut-p-es7z17032a?pdp=y

We just bought our new '25 Big Bend with the Black Diamond package today and it has a (nearly?) full-size spare tire under the rear cargo floor.

Edit: I see that the Black Diamond package includes a full-size spare. Interesting.

The off road packages and trim levels have the (nearly as you said) full sized spare. Makes sense, if you're on a trail of any type, you're more likely to have damaged the side wall or a larger hole than the sealant can handle. And much safer to have a real tire than a donut spare. And I mean any kind of trail, from the dirt and gravel road to your cabin, to logging roads, to the easy to mid off road trails.
