How Much Swag Is Too Much?

When donning your Bronco apparel, limit your selection to two pieces of Bronco-related garb.

A hat and jacket are fine. A hat, shirt, vest and jacket are over the top. Bronco rings, earrings, and belt buckles should be counted as one swag item each, so bear this in mind when getting dressed. If you have a Bronco tattoo that is plainly visible, consider whether you want to stick to the two pieces of Bronco swag rule. Maybe a tat and a hat. Or, a tat and a shirt.

Anything in excess will make people look at you sideways and walk away. I've heard. I'm not speaking from personal experience. Not at all.

The objective is to relay your enthusiasm for the product, invite questions that spark conversations, and dispel the notion that you're an avid Denver Broncos fan (even if you are). Remember, you're an ambassador for the Bronco community and the only "bad" Bronco is one that hasn't been delivered yet.

All swag choices are made at the sole discretion of the wearer and your motivation may vary.

What about desk SWAG? Does the two item rule still apply? In example: BRONCO flag, Bronco toy, and the BRONCO cup, with my daily attire of Bronco Off Roadeo hat?

Nope. I'm talking about swag you wear. What you go out into the world wearing, not trinkets! LOL

BUT, if you're wearing two items of swag and drinking coffee from a Bronco mug, you may want to cover the name on the mug until you're finished. ;)

Yeah good question I have tons of Bronco swag in my home office. It looks like ford threw up Bronco in there.
Skype meetings are always fun.

I know what you mean, sometimes when I wear my Bronco hoodie and hat together I get the feeling I'm overdoing it. Trouble is I really like my red Bronco hat and the green Bronco hoodie is great quality, I'd probably wear it even if it didn't say Bronco...well I like to believe that anyway. Good thing no one sees my Bronco t-shirt underneath. :)

Some Days I'm really mixed up and will mix and match with my Miata stuff.

I'm guilty of the same. I'll sport a Bronco hat and hoodie, but I'm hiding a Bronco shirt underneath. And, I'm supplanting all of my Mopar and Challenger attire with Bronco gear. I'm a HUGE muscle car fan. Long gone is most of my Subaru swag. I had a lot of that because I was an "official" Subaru Ambassador when I hung with the Subie crowd. (Still love them dearly.)

I applied to be a Subaru Ambassador when I had Subie's but I guess there was already one in our area cause I never got accepted.

I think my timing was right. It takes a lot out of you. You run the risk of burnout because they do depend on you to be everywhere and do everything. I must've volunteered when the old guard had surrendered. LOL

Okay, today my Bronco swag paid off BIG TIME. I was able to silently communicate my Bronco love to a Bronco driver as I was crossing the street. It was a gorgeous Area 51 blue 4 door. I was transfixed as it pulled up to the crosswalk.

I made eye contact with the driver and pointed to my hat and my Bronco Nation jacket (he didn't need to know I was wearing a TC Customs Bronco American flag tee underneath). Both he and his passenger gave me a thumbs up. What a great moment. Had to share. It made my day. :D

I think the two-piece rule is a pretty solid guideline. Once the hat, shirt, jacket, belt buckle, and accessories all start shouting the same message, it stops being subtle and becomes a full uniform.

I’d count the overall outfit rather than every tiny detail. A Broncos hat with a Broncos shirt feels perfectly reasonable, while adding another team-branded layer starts pushing into “okay, we get it” territory. That’s also why I appreciate everyday streetwear from brands such as The Platinum Link(https://theplatinumlink.com), you can show some personality without making the entire outfit revolve around one theme.

The desk swag gets a free pass, though. Nobody should be judging a Bronco mug sitting beside a Bronco flag at home.

I loved your remark "Okay, we get it," @antoniomarino. 😆 I think I get to the cusp of that routinely. But what's funny is that SO much of my wardrobe is Bronco- or brand-related merchandise. It's easy to cross over into crazy land. LOL

Would Ralph Lauren tell you to only wear two pieces of his clothing?

But I can relate, I've seen guys at the river that look like the Orvis catalog fell on them.

It is a very old thread. I think I was trying to keep myself busy while waiting for my Bronco to be built.

Maybe we should take up a collection of rubber duckies for Christopher. 🤪
