Where have you guys/gals been mounting flags at? Thoughts of getting one just not sure where to mount it.

Does it matter if the flag is on the front fender or on the tail gate?

Also there seem to be two different size flag rods, one about 80" and one about 100". Is there any reason to go with one size or the other?

They make a longer one for ones mounted on the bumper a shorter one for full sized Bronco hood mounted. The main thing is to make sure it meets the height requirement for certain locations. Can’t go wrong with the taller one

MRT Engineered Performance has a pretty inexpensive mount that goes on the fender trail sights. It's easy to install/remove. https://www.shopmrt.com/ProductDeta...NsH1Abef62vWCN4lFrmE4rhQdrKjLFLwaAs61EALw_wcB
Thanks Mark. I appreciate it. But like I mentioned to Jakob. I own a Bronco Sport. And I do Know of MRT great people. Had them put an exhaust on my previous BS.

Hi,

Thanks for covering this subject so well. Yes, we have put mounts on the front bumper but ideally have had the most success with a mount attaching to the rails on the top. The last couple of years, we attached them to our TrailRax. There's also sticky whips that lots of the Rebelle girls use. https://stickywhips.com/

It does seem that on the roof rails would be ideal with something like the sticky whips a close second. The lower it is, the longer the post has to be to get the required height above the car, so needing to be a couple three feet longer is just more for it to whip around.
