Bronco Sports and Broncos on the Lot in Sept 2023 LOTS of Them!

I had to go to the dealership to get my battery replaced (warranty-thanks Texas heat😡 ) and noticed besides the lot being over 3/4 full now, they had 20 Broncos on the lot!!! I have NEVER seen that many on a dealer lot around here. Loved seeing them all. There was no dealer markup on any of them (but there were no Raptors which do have mark ups on them). Prices have gone up since 2021 though. I walked the lot sharing what each Bronco MSRP is if you are interested. The dealer is Southwest Ford in Weatherford Tx (https://www.southwestford.com). I guess the only thing different I would have done was put the Sasquatch Bronco's together and then the non-sasquatch broncos together. Seeing the mismatched height, for me, diminished the appeal of the lower setting vehicles even though they are all Broncos - just my opinion. They had Badlands, Wildtrack, Outer Banks, and Big Bend models-so a variety of price levels depending on what a person would want. The website noted that 10 more are on the way, showing 30 in stock. That is amazing since for over 2 years, they were hard to find on lots in this type of quantity. Enjoy the video-I enjoyed seeing all these Broncos!! I did another video on the Mustangs on the lot if interested-check out my channel!

I noticed the same thing here in VA. I just bought my Eruption Green Badlands Sasquatch off the lot 2 Saturdays ago and there were a bunch at that time. When I went by the dealership today, there were probably double what they had previously. Lots of Badlands, Black Diamonds, Sports, etc. A pretty wide selection. I was surprised.View attachment 20230918_150859.jpgView attachment 20230918_150847.jpg

I was shocked seeing them myself. I thought it would be like the Bronco Sports on the lot-all Big Bends with minimal features-they were very varied in amenities!!

My understanding is they ran a lot of capacity prior to the strike deadline. Hopefully it won’t be too long and the strike will be resolved. The supply chain is still pretty fragile coming out of Covid, so it won’t take long before suppliers start to close and we end up with another long run of low supply 🤞🏽

Maybe with the limited strike, it will help keep the materials/supplies from dropping too low.

I live very close to a dealer in Metro Boston. Around June, the Bronco Sports showed up, mostly non-Badlands. They have had a few or more in stock since then and some Badlands as well. They have had a Heritage come and go. When I bought in June, it was tricky to get a Badlands, but I got one at sticker with no add-ins from the dealer. Even got the exact trim, options, and color I wanted. Hopefully, the Mexico (non-UAW) factory and global supply chain can keep up the pace. I'm not against the strike, just pointing out the BS isn't in a closed plant (yet).

Congratulations on your Badlands!!! I got mine 2 years ago for sticker as well. I have had it two years without any issues. No recalls, nor any warranty repairs, other than my battery getting replaced because of a bad cell. It is nice actually seeing cars on the lot and having options to choose from. Here is the video on my 2 year review if you are interested. Congrats again and enjoy!

Great overview. Thanks for showing your window sticker. My '23 Badlands has a couple options, but it was $12K more than yours! And four dealers in Metro Boston told me the X-Plan and other discounting is no longer accepted. I'm hoping I dodge the brake squeel. 1600 miles so far lucky.

Inflation and demand has caused many vehicles to increase in price since 2021. I actually got one from the first transport truck to the dealership near where I live. I just saw them when driving by and sent a pic of them to my wife. She texted me back the ones she wanted. I only saw the Big Bend/Outer Banks all lined up and the Badlands was just removed and parked in the back. I test drove a Big Bend and they let me drive the Badlands. To me, the extra power and upgraded suspension was worth the extra money. Enjoy your Badlands-it is a fun vehicle to drive and it can go off-roading easily!

Our Dealers here has had two new Big Bends this week, one the week prior and they move out rapidly. We also have access to two other sister Dealers in this area. Fortunately we have kept a diet of Bronco Sports every week between the three of us.. Lets hope we three Dealers maintain and continue recieving stock

Ford hasn't said it, but my gut feeling is this one comes down to the tops in majority. And if so, I hope they are in supply and functioning well for the '24s.
