Window Rattle

Well as I predicted the front windows now rattle going down the road. I was afraid of this without window frames. I get the rattle noise when you get the quick side to side movement. If I sick my finger between the window and the seal the noise stops. Same on the passenger side. Are other folks getting this? Have you tried any warranty solutions at the dealer? I have a 23 Badlands, LUX, and is 16 months old. To me this isn't a model issue but a design problem. Any after market kits folks may have found that helps?

Thanks,
Dave

Hey Dave I think there was a TSB on that a while ago. Check with your dealership. No matter how you slice it, they should be fixing it

Hi there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end.

Well, if there's a fix, my service mgr doesn't know about it. My '23 Badlands was in for this (and another issue) just last week and they said there's nothing they can do about it but a fix may be coming in Q3 2025.

Have you tried the window reset? There’s a. Article about it in the how to dos, I believe it’s there. It may/may not fix it but worth a try

Thanks to all for the info. I will send FORD the VIN. I have not contacted my dealer yet. This was my first step.

Here is the SSM. I had to show this to my service dept to get it fixed. They knew nothing about it. It came out a while ago but still applies.

Might be a stupid question- but where are those plugs? Also does it work on backseat windows? I have one that leaks at the car wash, wondering if this might help

Under your doors. I'd assume if the plugs are on the back doors, the method should work.
