Havein a series of window problems
Two week of ownership and driver window would not go up. It was cold like 5 degreea. Had to pull ip by hand twice. Took to dealer could not reproduce
Every once in a while all 4 windows drop when opening one door. Not a big problem but in not correct
Open back door and the window went all the way down 2x. Have not taken in because they will not be able to reproduce
The most anoying and pain in the ass is passenger fronr window about every two weeks rolls back down when rolling up. It just continues to do it. Dont know how to get out of it. It usually takes about 15 min of messing with it to get it to stop. And i have to re calabrate window to get it to drop back down when opening.
Things i do to try and get it to stip
- turn bronco off and an several times
- roll up in first click mode where i control the window
- roll up using auto mode.
Some times these work after many tries.
The latest that works the best but not all the time is opening the door and eoll up and down 2 or 3 times then shut door and re cal window.

Just a pain in the ass on a 3 month old 60,000 vehical
Have not taken in because it would have to be while its happening and cant afford to keep taking in unril they can reproduce. Only mode of transport and renting get expensive.
Just getting out frustration

if all 4 drop when you unlock check your settings... it's tied to the door lock, if you set it to driver door only then only the driver door will drop.

Also there's some window settings in there for auto drop and roll down with the key fob and some other stuff that you can try turning off and see if that helps?

If none of that helps There's a way to reset the window, I can't remember exactly it's here on the forum and you can google it but you roll the problem window down by holding the button and keep holding the button for so many seconds after it's down and then repeat... It's supposed to reset it.

thanks will look into settings. I do have it so my fob will roll down all 4 windows might try turning it off see if that helps. But i like it to cool it down before getting it in.
I do the rest once i can get the window to stay up bit having to do it about evey two weeks sounds excessive

I know I get the passenger window rolls up then immediately down again if I use the key fob to globally open the windows and when I am done driving and want to close the windows that’s when the passenger side opens as soon as I close it. That is the only time it ever does that. The 25 and 26 broncos have a setting that as soon as you unlock all the windows drop to the open door setting. I thought that was cool I wish they had that for us older Bronco folks.
BN 1100, Desert Sand Everglades. Reservation 7/30/20. ordered 1/22/21, reordered 10/15/21 dropped tow and hard top, reordered 3/9/22 changed to Everglades. production date 9/7/22 rescheduled 9/14/22 completed 9/26/22, shipped 10/7/22, arrived 10/31/22, delivered 11/03/22

how do you correct the window not staying up? I know the one yesterday I did open the windows with the key fob. But have had it without the key fob also.

Bronco Window Reset / Reinitialization (Quick Guide)

If your auto up/down stopped working, or your window is acting weird after a battery disconnect, here’s the quick fix:

Steps (do each window individually):

  1. Turn ignition ON
  2. Roll the window all the way down
    • Keep holding the switch for 2–3 seconds after it’s fully open
  3. Roll the window all the way up
    • Keep holding the switch for 2–3 seconds after it’s fully closed
  4. Test the auto up/down with a quick tap
When you’ll need this:
  • Battery disconnected/replaced
  • Auto function stopped working
  • Window “bounces” back down

Notes:
  • Do the driver window first, then the others
  • Doors closed helps ensure a clean reset
  • If it doesn’t take the first time, repeat slowly

This is just reinitializing the window limits—quick and easy fix 👍

yeah I just fought with it until it stayed closed. And one I turned the Bronco off everything went back to normal. I really only did it the one day when I was rolling top off and had a few errands to run. So I was going from place to place so I had it happen 3 or 4 times in a day that is how I figured it out. My fix, I just stopped remote open the windows. But I always remote start.

@Jakob1972 you may already know this but it works for me. When you use the key fob windows roll down option, you press the unlock button on the fob, then release, then press again and hold. The window begin to lower. When you release the unlock button the windows continue until they are rolled all the way down. HOWEVER, once the windows start to roll down, press the unlock button again and the windows will stop, partially rolled down. I always stop mine before they are all the way down and ✊ on 🪵 haven’t had the issue doing this.

On a similar note, does anyone know if there is a way to raise the windows using the key fob without having to use Forscan?
