Will I Ever Get My 2-Door Bronco

I made a reservation for a 2-door Bronco in October of 2020, and my order was officially created in February of 2021, but it still says “Ordering with Dealer” on my Ford account. The dealer can’t tell me anything except that it still isn’t scheduled to build. When I call Ford, they are no help, except to confirm that there is an order number. It’s going on a year and a half without even a projection of when my Bronco might be built. I feel like something has to be wrong.

I feel the same way about my Wildtrak.

I know it's frustrating but there are a lot of people that reserved before you that still don't have a build date. I'm sure your order is in correctly and there is nothing your dealership or Ford CS will be able to tell you when it will be scheduled. The hard tops are one of the biggest constraints so the 2 doors have been hit especially hard.

Same frustration here with a 2 door sasquatch/outerbanks order. Original reservation was 7/15/20 and order was "confirmed" 11/2/21. No communication from Ford since then. Dealership thinks I "should" get it in calendar year 2022.

My order for a 2 Door, Sasquatch with Lux , shows the same, ordering with Dealer. Ford confirmed the order is valid and has been Placed , just not scheduled yet. After fords announcement of shipping Broncos with only safety features and possibly not having extra accessories installed for up to 1 year later , I’m about done with the whole Bronco deal. I want what I ordered not shorted items and I won’t settle for anything less. I know ford is scheduling this coming week for production through may, if I don’t get a build date this week they can keep it .

For those saying they have a status of Ordered by not scheduled, has the Ford given you your VIN? Or do you not have that yet?

Dealer allotment!!! In addition to your restraints have you looked into how many orders your dealer has on record? This has been a common problem for the people that ordered the first few days. Just an idea of something to look into. Plenty of dealers out there that seem to fulfill orders a lot quicker. Food for thought.

Got the scheduled production email and VIN earlier this month. Website updated with "in production" and window sticker generated today.
So yeah, they're coming out. Slowly, but surely

I was a 7/13 2D reservation, it was finally built on 3/11, hopefully it will be here in April sometime. Hang in there, there's looooooots of 2D folks a head of you still.

I am in exactly the same boat. Same reservation and order months. Reordered in Oct of 21. I just keep in contact with my sales manager every couple of weeks to see if any orders get pulled for build and where I am in the dealerships pecking order. Nothing else we can do unfortunately. You are in good company

Well, I've been waiting a little over a year for my loaded 2-door Wildtrack and decided that I am no longer going to play the "wait-em-out" game. My wait is now over. I bought a 2-door 1st Edition this week which cost about $15,000 over sticker. Hopefully my Wildtrack will arrive this year and if prices hold up, I'll sell it for whatever premium it brings above retail and I'll get most of my $15,000 back from the extra that I paid for the 1st Edition.

People don’t have a build date that ordered in the first 24 hours. Relax. It will only be another year or two. Buy a Jeep while you wait. That will help Ford;)

Your story is identical to mine. I reserved in July of 2020 a 2dr Badlands, standard with a MIC top. Nothing from Ford at all and my dealer has no clue. I’ve called Ford as well and pretty much got the exact same experience you did.

I got my Bronco on 2/25/22 (2dr non sas BD 2.3 manual) and just got back from our first trip. Didn't see any other Broncos except a 4dr at a dealer lot. I know there are 2 other 2drs here and at least one 4 dr.

I have only seen 1- 2Dr in the wild , starting to see more 4 drs, I have lost all faith in Ford at this point .

Woman at work showed up with a new Bronco, a four-door though. Supposedly the dealership got three of them in all at the same time and everyone had backed out. She didn't have a reservation, but was there at the right time. Seems odd to me because there must have been reservation holders waiting, and I'm surprised she was able to buy one without someone else "in line" buying it first, but she's driving it, so I guess it happened.

Edited to add: I just looked at their website and they show over a dozen Broncos available. Several two-doors, several manual trans, etc. That can't be true though.

Feel your pain (history in my signature). I called Ford for the first time in a year last week to settle my nerves about "my Dealer" holding out on me. Ford said the order was with them with no anticipated delivery and no VIN. Though crushing, my low/no service Dealer, isn't holding me back.

I still don't understand allocations, but at this point I believe its a crap shoot with Ford who (if they have an order selection process) probably is in a continuous state of damage control and perpetual process change... some self-inflicted and some out of their control.

With this whole non-essential chip re-thinking... I may add back the tow package, because dropping it hasn't gotten me picked up for assembly.
