Why Exclude Bronco 6G

I do not agree with Bronco Nations stand on this, I view each site as complimentary to each other. I am cancelling my recurring membership with Bronco nation, short sited and heavy handed.

Sorry to see you go. I'm curious why you wouldn't wait to find out the entire story and what the misunderstanding is all about? I have a feeling it's not as bad as it first appears, at least I hope so.

I find it annoying to see things posted there that are, from my perspective, plagiarized from BN. Sometimes, and maybe I'm wrong, it looks like pictures are taken and a Bronco6G watermark is applied. That's wrong.

Bronco6g is a no fee membership. I appreciated how they made me aware of things on Bronco Nation. If anything Bronco6g drew my attention to Bronco Nation even more. Again, I viewed the sites as complimentary. Seems like Bronco Nation wants to be the only game in town. I would be totally open to explanation. I do know that I wont quote Bronco Nation on my Bronco6g. My membership does not expire until July, so I will be happy to hear the entire story.

So are we going to get attacked by wearing BN gear like a red hat wearing political party did? Just need to know before putting on stickers and getting keyed lol. In all seriousness, everyone needs to realize there are two sides to every story as others have said. I'll go out on a limb and say what was posted on the other site is not the remedy sought. Most likely it could have been handled by moderator and guidance to cite sources when posting and not copying/pasting without citing/linking source. I think what was proposed was not taking responsibility for the actual infractions and instead is inciting sympathy and anger. It's the world we live in though. I did look through some of the responses in that thread and after two pages I quit reading. Nobody stood up and said hey, where's the full complaint, what content, etc. Anywho...everyone is entitled to their views and respect thoughtful debate.

Agreed. Listen, if someone copy and pasted my professional works I'd want someone to do something about it...lets face it, the guys like Dave that write articles...this is their profession, they are writers.. If someone, or a forum, allows members to use articles not giving credit to where they came from would tick me off. And legal departments handle things the way legal departments do. They send letters citing a violation of a law.

I don't like the polarization between both groups. Some of us are members on both. The end goal of each is the same. I don't like that bn is excluding their content from being shared on B6G because most of the pictures and video that BN produces is exclusive to specific media platforms, instead of being common to all (ie cross posting on the website as well as on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram). The only way I see the non-BN website posted content is when someone on B6G shares the link. There is no way I'm choosing just one or the other. I need my bronco info fix and I'll look anywhere for it. Whether it's BN, B6G, and even Ford Authority (although they are usually 2-3 days late to the party)

I look at it more as 1 big Bronco community and not a couple of websites. Each have their own nuances. I spend more time here but to each his own.

Obviously BN needs to protect their IP. No one can argue with that. I don't know if there were previous conversations with the admins at B6G regarding the content, but the statement from their attorney was off-putting, to say the least.

Aman. How can you possibly be that upset about what he said? If you look at the thread that you have participated in, its not even in the same league.
I don't know what all the lawyer stuff is about but did you ever wonder why the administrator cut off the notification where they did?
If you look at the situation objectively, you might know why. Just throwing it out there.
I hate there is a feud going on. I think it helps the entire Bronco community when both sites can share each others content. Just like the B6 watermark should stay on all content here, the BN watermark should stay on all content there.
Hopefully some day when Ford can actually produce a Bronco, we can all sit down like grown adults, share an adult beverage and lie about the huge boulder we conquered in our Broncos.:cool:
