The other day, one of my friends shared a picture of our Broncos side by side at a past event.

I'll be honest, I couldn't find my Bronco in the picture --- because I forgot I'm on my second Bronco. Both my Broncos have been 2021 2-door Badlands, this current one just Sasquatch, so pretty much the same, but it got me wondering: How many have you gone through? Especially 6th gen, but let's hear of/see all the years.

Were they big changes or did you stay in the same trim too and refresh the year? Anyone get one as fully the same as you could get?

I changed mainly for the fact that I bought a retired Off-Roadeo unit and everything was kind of flattened underneath (yes, I paid MSRP and yes, it was still worth it), and secondarily for the color. Couldn't be happier!

What about you?

My 1st Bronco & my 1st 4WD. Took time to decide what I wanted from the vehicle. It was to be my retirement toy, showing me how to drive off-road & rock-crawl. Placed an order for a Badlands w/Sasquatch in August 2021, built the last week of 2022's, & picked up just before Christmas.

It has done everything asked of it & taught me a great deal. Retirement has been & will be much more fun with my Bronco. I will keep it as long as I can drive it. Then it will be passed down to the kids. Unless they already have their own.....

It sounds like its had a full life of fun already. Great background story

LOL - Don't recall ever seeing a Bronco I didn't like! Our 1st luv was '78 red/white:
Bronco 2nd Gen 1978 Model at Cottonwood Pass 1.jpeg
Our 6G experience began with a blue '22 Badlands we ordered, tracked through scheduling, assembly & awaiting shipment .. that months later never shipped##!!..

Our dealer finally called with a white '23 WildTrak their original buyer had declined and we couldn't be happier. Wifey loved WT's lux interior tricks and its 3.0 HOSS suspension seemed great fit for our high mtn Colorado trails. Sure, we added lots of bumper, winch, lights, skids & slider protections along with tons of other accessories to make this Bronco completely ours. Now, can't even imagine trading our Bronco on another..

78/79s are my favorite bodies. Are you going to be at SCW? Hope to see you there again!

Traded in my 2021 Area 51 BL SAS 2.3L for a 2025 Stroppe.

What's that suspension difference like for you?

#1...

The 1st Gen Broncos were what got me interested in this style of vehicle and in 4 wheeling. By the time I was old enough to purchase a vehicle in the early 80's they were discontinued and used ones were out of my budget.

Never really like the following generation Bronocs so I became a Jeep guy for the next 30+ years. When the 6th gen was announced I knew I had to have one.

I have zero plans to trade this or to get anything different. I will drive it until it falls apart or I croak, whichever comes 1st..

Lotta trips with that one already!
I'm going to try to keep my current one as long as I can, too. We'll see what any future years bring, but I don't think Ford can top the body style for me and I'm concerned I won't like the 7th gen.

still on my 1st one.
22 Badlands 74k miles
Plan on keeping it for a long time

See, you picked the "right" color from the beginning. Kidding, I loved my Oxford White, but I like Carbonized Gray better for me now. A past teammate called the first one a postal truck after I had traded it in 😂 Keep it going, especially if it has the 2.7L.

Hi Laura! Yeah, hope too. Am currently working through a back issue. MRI's tomorrow and another ortho doc visit 1st week of Sept.

Wifey & I GREATLY enjoyed our '78. Almost every weekend began with us sleeping near a mtn trailhead in the Bronco -

I like that within the three weeks you had it, you got offroad and momentumly challenged, if that strap was to get you out and not another

This was the Big Bend I got while waiting for the first WIldtrak. I'll never tell if I was being tugged or doing the tugging. lol. But all three of my Broncos went off road with the temporary plates still on them.
I am not the leader. I just like to go first.

I'm on my first Bronco. I bought it in early July, 1800 miles so far. I have a short commute, so hoping to keep it for close to 10+ years. At least, that's the plan my wife has for it haha.

Due to circumstances, I haven't kept a car long enough to pay it off in around 18 years. So we were originally planning to lease, but found out OBX and BL don't lease well, so bought it.

I always liked the 90's Bronco, but never got to own one.

Too me, it was night and day. The cabin is sooo quiet now. I used to take off the roof of my 2021 so I wouldn’t have to hear the squeeks! And that 2.7L is wowza- quick pickup. Plan to do a tune at some point.

I do like the looks of the Oxford White especially with the paint matched tops.
This one has the 2.3 because I wanted three pedals 😆
