Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Finally pulled the hard top, and installed the Bestop bikini. The bikini is not impressive at all and really a disappointment that I wasted my money on it (see posting in accessories forum). But the bronco is just as awesome topless as with the top.

I like the receiver cap but aren't those cages on the door pockets intended to replace the webbing, @adcam? I would think leaving the webbing in place might create an obstruction.

@Speed Devil: How you liking that BestTop? I think they look sharp. Did you do the installation yourself? If so, was it simple? Nice shots, btw. ;)

got a nice burn/tan down in Florida because I kept the top and doors off, putting the side windows are easy, back is pinch harder but I’m never going back to the h

Awesome. I'm probably going to be a nervous wreck the first time I do that to my Bronco. I've ordered the door bags and I'm mechanically inclined, but I'm nervous about removing parts without damaging them. I imagine it will get easier with time and practice, but that first time is going to be nerve-racking! Still, LOVE the way the Bronco looks without doors.

Heading up to Happy Jack, AZ to run some forest roads, saw some videos of damage done to the door paint getting peppered from the tires throwing rocks on Bronco Nation so I wanted to get some mud flaps prior to hitting the trails. All the ones I have investigated were more than I wanted to spend and they didn't look like what I was wanting (simple looking & easy to take on and off). So I bought some el-cheap-o mud flaps from the auto store for less than $20 and a piece of 1.5" square tubing for around $10, I already had some 1/2" × 1/4" angle aluminum left over from a previous lighting project and came up with this idea and got them built for less than $50 and it took me about an hour and half time to measure, cut and assemble.

They go on & off real easy and installed in the front frame rails utilizing the existing bolt that came from the factory and didn't have to drill the fender flares, they definitely could use some refinement and maybe some black paint on the pieces but they work and look exactly like what I was hoping for.

@BuckYeah you have the option to leave the mesh in place for the door molle. I like the mesh as it serves to hold my coffee thermos in place.

Gotcha. I could see how the tension would help keep items from rattling around, but I could see myself struggling with parking something in there while driving. I’m a spaz. LOL

That damage isn’t so bad. I’m not too spooked about getting scuffs here and there. Every battle scar tells a story, right? Worst case, you could swap out the damaged panel(s) or eliminate them entirely. And again, that soft top is awesome. I like how it gives it a fastback look.

Thanks, and its easy(ish) to flip back as well

I dont mind the scar at all, leads to a story as you said. Wonder how next time will go

Mounted my fire extinguisher and mounted my CO2 tire inflator.
@J.bell can you share details on the CO2 tire inflator and a pic? That's what is used in my Wrangler. But, it was huge, because my husband wanted me to be able to air up his tires too.
