My Badlands came with one. Doesn’t Obi have one? All Broncos should have them, but not all do. I think they muffle some engine noise and may have some insulating properties.

My Green Diamond did not come with it, so I added it from IAG. Made a big difference in the engine noise and hood shake.

Gas where ya'll live has always been higher than in the south. Part of living up in liberal land I guess.

Actually we pay more so we do not have to live in close proximity to those refining plants.... I will take a deep breath of fresh air every time I fill up and think of you....😉

Oh and living in about the reddest state in the Nation... I would not quite call it liberal land... although I do wish we had a better balance...

Anywhere down south... you live a lot closer to them than I do... "closer" is a relative term.

There are at least two in your state.... None in mine. The closest is hours of driving past the state line. I have to pay for that transportation.... It is a compromise I am willing to make.

Phosphate mining and manufacturing (notably in Caribou County) and legacy hard-rock mining in Northern Idaho’s Silver Valley release heavy metals, toxic air pollutants, and fugitive dust.
Natural gas and coal-fired power plants (operated by entities like Idaho Power) emit nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and mercury.
Lumber kilns, paper processing, and wood-burning byproducts (especially from older wood stoves and slash burning) are significant sources of particulate matter in northern Idaho.

Major Sources may optionally report additional air pollutants known as Hazardous Air Pollutants(HAPs), but are not required to do so. In Idaho, during any given year there are about 47 total industrial facilities who emit enough to have to report their annual emissions.

Yep, burning that firewood to stay warm in winter is a major contributor to air pollution. Look, I’m not trying to one-up anyone or anything else, just saying that every state has pluses and minuses, and all contribute to thing we really don’t want or like. So, we should be careful when we take that deep breath of “fresh” air! I would love to move to Idaho but will likely never happen.

I agree... we need to do a lot of clean up....

So today I spent a bunch of time digging..... (nothing around to hitch a winch to).... Took about 3 hours. but it was worth the trip... All alone in the middle of no where.... Yes there is a fence but that is for the range cattle.... The last person on this trail logged in several days ago.

Well... behind the front tires... dig a ramp so you can back out... carried probably 500 lbs of small rock about 100 yards from the last water crossing to help build the ramp (thank gosh for my winch accessories bag it holds a lot of rock) .... Third try it popped right up.... Damn Rattle snake gave me a start though. On my knees digging with my hand and a 40 inch rattler with about 10 rattles decided to come check me out. Came across under the truck right up to my face. I don't think he was there to help.

Drove it home from a 500 mile trip around the Olympic Peninsula, with lots of that in the Olympic National Forest.

Hit 43k miles and noticed one of my shocks was starting to leak. Instead of dropping a fortune on a brand new set, I had all 4 rebuilt. Way cheaper.
Damn, what a difference. I didn't think it rode bad before, but holy hell, it feels like a brand new truck now. So much stiffer and way more responsive.
If your ride is getting up there in mileage, don't sleep on a rebuild. Your wallet will thank you.
