Indeed. As you recall, I got a flat tire “in the middle of nowhere,” and it was no picnic changing the spare. At least the factory supplied jack performed satisfactorily on the forest floor, with the help of a jack stand. Good to know. 🤓 That said, it would have proven costly to have a rescue service come out to me!
If I recall, we were on a small off-shoot trail at the time which I assume would have added significant cost to any recovery...
Worse case, we could have loaded your tire into
@OrangecrushBronco or my vehicle and drove it to a tire repair shop (probably at least 40 m miles away), had it repaired, and brought back to your Bronco. A serious PIA either way...
I'm still wondering what caused the flat in the 1st place since we didn't find any signs of the protrusion...
The spare came in handy and only put us down for what, like 10 minutes before we were back on the trails?
