Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Yeah, that wire is not likely heavy enough AWG for higher-powered light bars. I think it's 14 AWG. It's rated for at least 15A, or they wouldn't fuse the circuit at 15A. The math says this light draws 12-13A. My multi-meter maxs out at 10A measurement, so I haven't measured the actual draw.

With a higher-powered light, that would suggest a relay controlled by the Aux switch (one of the 10A circuits would do) and a heavier wire run downstream from the relay to the light.

If u know the wattage of the light bar… divide it by 12 ( battery voltage) and it will give u current draw. I.E 240 watt divided by 12 is 20 amps… not suited for a 20 amp circuit due to the circuit being designed to trip at that amperage….. max should be several amps under… say 17 for example. A 240 watt light should be on a 30 amp circuit including fuse and wire size.

Funny how owning a Bronco can get you doing things we have not done in a long time.

Honestly it was partly b/c I spent $100 on ammo that was on sale and figured that was a better use of the cash and justified it by doing the rotate myself. 🤣

Headed out for a 3 day - 2 night camping trip Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week so I got the Bronco and the TigerMoth ready and packed..

Slapped a 2nd 100Ah Lifepo4 battery in the Moth and ran it in parallel so that will give me 200Ah of total power for off grid camping. Plus the 40Ah Dometic I have in the Bronco for a car fridge. Bringing the Wolfbox car fridge on this trip since I now have more room in the Bronco..

I am headed to the Nebraska National Forest and it should be more fun than any human is allowed to have..

Exactly right. Harbor Freight specs the light at 155 watts, so at nominal 12v it should draw 12.9A. But, is HF spec accurate? Also, voltage will be higher and lower current draw with engine running vs. just battery voltage. I did a followup video here:

Added some molle panels and a tail gate table to the back of the bronco. It really helps with storage back there. Went with the BroAddic super heavy duty.

This last weekend I installed the Ford Performance Tailgate Reinforcement kit and also included the Turn Offroad Tailgate Rotopax Mount -https://turnoffroad.com/collections/bronco-spare-tire-carrier/products/2021-ford-bronco-tailgate-rotopax-mount . It fit great in the inboard bolt holes with a 35" tire. I did have to add a couple of thick washers to offset it from the exoskeleton. I have a couple of 3 gal Rotopax and I was hoping to stack both on there but there's not enough room with the stock taillights. I'll have to take a look again if it would be possible with flush ones. Even with only 1 Rotopax, I had to order a tailgate limiter so it wouldn't smash my tailgate if it goes much past 90 degrees.

Gave it a deep interior cleaning…. Was gonna wash the outside but Paulie and the pollen šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø began their migration and is leaving yellow dust everywhere so will probably only get a rain bath until the šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø move north..

Hey, cool patches! šŸ˜‰

I like the Molle pattern storage solution on the tailgate. That's the one with the table, right? I currently have the Molle that attaches directly to the tailgate but I was considering adding the drop-down table as well. Would you recommend it?

you like the patches, a pretty cool dude sent me those.šŸ˜‰ Yes it is the table. And for the price I would recommend it I think BroAddic has a few types this one is the cheaper one. It is the two level table it is very solid, but the top tier is a bit of a PITA to get set right. But we will not use that much. Also the latches are under some tension so watch out when you loosen them.

That’s cool. Thanks for the tip. Very much appreciated. I’ll be in Austin this Friday for the Bronco Off-Roadeo. I’m sure I’ll be doing some shopping. LOL
