I wish Ford would do an Eddie Bauer or similar trim again… King Ranch doesn’t do it for me…

I always thought the collaboration was bordering on cheesy, but I always liked the vehicles themselves. I too wish they'd bring it back. I'm not a fan of the King Ranch editions, I don't like the interior colors.

So got the tackform dash bar up, with the GoPro cam up and then it was time for the safari bar. The quality of the bolts on the mod bumber has gone down hill. 2 of them I had to use a wrench, and looking at the rest of the bumper, I see at least another 4 needs replacing.
I did get the bar mounted but so disappointed on how strip those bolts are. Wish I knew someone that’s an expert on roof light and the rock lights. Dealership quoted me like 800 for both..Ouch

Feel your pain on Bronco accessory installer pricing. We were surprised by our upfitter's bid to just install front & rear Bronco bumpers we have - $3,600!!

Sooo, am working our Bronco's ARB bumper install in my 'spare time'. Gotta say ARB's build quality is quite good - It's a beast though ~250lbs with the winch!

My very sketchy assembly rig allows relocation, so I can both keep Bronco inside our tiny 2-car garage and roll the bumper assembly out for work.

Completed the winch install today, lights & grill work are on deck. We have house guests next week, and wheeling fun will put this bumper project on-hold for awhile.

Thanks, I probably won't camp then and will just go up for the day next Saturday. I'll scope out other possible camp sites for future trips.

Pokey goes to the body shop Monday. Replacing the tailgate, got hit on the spare lightly a couple of weeks ago and had the insurance inspect for hidden damage. Found a small crease across body lines. Pic is hard to see

Pokey goes to the body shop Monday. Replacing the tailgate, got hit on the spare lightly a couple of weeks ago and had the insurance inspect for hidden damage. Found a small crease across body lines. Pic is hard to see

Got Pokey back but have decided to take it easy until I install tailgate reinforcement. Have a month until we head to CO for SuperCel

Started project Bronze Beauty...
Bucking Bronco is the "Sinister Bronze" Ford
Script badges are just cheap plastic ones from RPM Bronco that I Cerakoted with C-148 Burnt Bronze.
They don't match up perfectly, but they're not near each other on the vehicle, so I think it's good.

Next step will be taking the beauty rings off the wheels & sandblasting & cerakoting them the same color as the script.

Also need to decide what to do with the Wildtrak badge I have sitting in the glove box. Not thinking it's going on the exterior anywhere. I've been putting a few on the carbon looking pc at the front of the soft top... could end up there.

Love the bronze look…. I’ve seen Badlands badges on the tailgate under the bronco
