Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Very interested on Rock Jock's antirock sway bar kit. Had considered installing Ford's electric disconnect, but our Bronco mechanic isn't sure that's best option. Please give us an update after on & off road experiences.

Cheers

Went to Overland PNW over the weekend to hang out with the Bronco Nation fam. Then headed to Mt Hood. If ever in the Mt hood area I highly recommend checking out Grateful Vinyard where you can take in spectacular mountain views while enjoying wines, ciders and jams ect made on site along with fresh fruit. They also have some of the best pizza and homemade rootbeer I've ever had.

Ordered a phone mount. So far, by shopping closeouts and discounts I've saved $500 off msrp across the board on everything I've purchased so far for it.

Ordered more toys for the Bronco..

Ford Accessories is having a 4th of July sale that gives you 25% off (code: FIREWORK25)...

While I do love my power tank set up, I decided to order an ARB Dual for under the hood to free up some space in the Bronco cargo area. Plus the discount price is impossible to beat.

This is an absolute killer price for the ARB dual compressor, the Bronco mounting bracket and an ARB air hose. It's a complete kit..

I also selected to pick it up from a dealer in Portland, Oregon that's about a 10 minute drive from me so no sales tax. Win!

Anyone looking for a used Power Tank complete set up for a 2dr? I am going to be selling it for more than half off and will post a for sale thread after the ARB is in..

With sadness and a possible tear (not really but figured I'd add some drama 😜), I removed the Power Tank setup from my Bronco this morning.. I ordered an ARB Dual for under the hood to replace it.

While I absolutely love the Power Tank setup, I desperately need every inch of cargo space I can muster since I roll topless 24/7 in my 2dr. I carry a lot of gear for my camping and off-road trips and the addition of a car fridge into the mix, created a need for a little more space.

Had I known I wanted a car fridge, I would have just ordered the ARB from the beginning. The 6 P's come to mind here.

Mr @Deano Bronc cheated death .. again!

Not a geologist/rockhound here, but that rock ledge doesn't look very strong. I see what looks like a recently exposed darker rock edge in the foreground. Clearly, that sandstone shears off at 90 deg angles. Me thinks if ya don't have landing chute installed on your Bronco, parking near that overhang's edge not great idea.

The ARB is certainly a clean set-up, but I opted for Thors lightning dual in a briefcase, so I can take in my Bronco or my f150. Noise is a factor with all of them, and possibly heat, but with a four wheel setup I can air up or down very quickly, and since the hood’s open anyway the cable to the battery saves an auxiliary switch… I’m thinking I might do a weatherproof plug up front so I don’t have to open the hood.

I'm a ThorsLightning fan myself. I got the "Refuge" molle cage, and had a off-duty Ford dealer tech run a cable from the front, along the firewall, down the right front wheel well, under the carriage to the right rear wheel well, to the compressor. He put in a simple remote switch. Once I have my hoses rigged, I sit at the driver's wheel and watch my psi on the dash. When I hit my target pressure, I switch it off. I can usually set up, air up, and stow the gear in 14 or 15 minutes.

Today I got my MEKMagnet body armor out. In two weeks I'm hitting the Swisha Loop, 500 very remote miles in Quebec. The organizer said, "I can guarantee pinstripes," so the armor goes on. Here's my carbonized gray with the gray topo MEKMagnet armor:

OK, I’m LOVING the magnetic armor!

While I like the look and idea of the refuge system, I would imagine the noise level of the compressor would drive me out of the rig when operating (but I could be wrong…)

Looking at magnetic armor now (thanks, ALOT…LOL)… wish they had it for the f150

I got the Ford Performance ARB in the tackle box as I call it. Takes up too much room in the 2 door for how much I would need it. I did like the fact that it could go from vehicle to vehicle but with how much space it takes up I'm going to see if I can detach it from the box and make a bracket to secure it under the hood.

I got this mount bracket. Spendy but works great.I started with the toolbox single arb and made it work easy peasy. The single works just fine with the sas tires.

My issue as well. My power tank setup was taken out to make some additional space. The tackle box type compressors would take that space right back away. So it's going to be an under the hood ARB for me.

Bronco needs to offer self inflating tires like in the James Bond movies. 😆

I'm looking forward to the fun of trying to create one to feel like I beat the system, however this may be a better bet. Does this come with needed hardware??
