Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

First time I've seen it from that angle. Looks like a movie effect. I respect your commitment to sending it!

Got to the lake and made lunch just in time to get rained out. After about 30 minutes of non stop rain decided to roll back down the mountain. Fun 3 miles of big wet slippery rocks.

Wow - Nice Mtn lake you can drive right up to! That’d be a traffic jam here. Thanks for posting pics.

The last half mile will deter most folks as it was 4-low and required both lockers at times. Saw three rigs parked at the 2 mile from the lake wide spot. A family group of 10 hiked up to spend the day fishing. Dad said he tried it once and never again as he had to back down almost a mile to get turned around.
Flying solo I questioned my decision that last half mile but the Bronco did what it does with ease.

Gotcha! Yeah, that tough part keeps it open for ya. Our example is Jenny Lake. Jenny's probably 7 or 8 miles up Rollins Pass trail. Rolling's another old railway that's more difficult than Boreas, but lockers aren't needed. Here's Jenny Lake.
Rollings Pass Trail - Jenny Lake Sept-23.jpeg
And here's our Bronco 'bout 1/4 mile below at Forest Service's makeshift closed gate.

Changed my oil and rotated the tires. Plus installed the Bronco bull bar. Found someone that was asking $50 for it so we drove over to Ohio on Saturday to pick it up. Also installed my painted BN badge.
Also installed my new trailing arm skids that I modified with poly.

Went out and got it dirty. Used the lockers and stuff. Even saw a little bit of fresh snow.

No, which was the selling point for me. It did take a little persuasion using my floor jack and rubber mallet but I finally got it. Of course their instruction video only showed the drivers side which was by far the easiest to install.

The Lange Originals hardtop cart arrived. Takes up little space and seems to be pretty secure for all 4-door roof parts.

Yeah, passenger side inside's a very tight space, but these look like good skids, and like their threaded adapter approach. Where'd you get the HD poly?

Heading to the tire shop to see if I need to get this tire patched or if I can just pull the nail out of the lug.
