LOL, you do what I do, which is to put the tire under the vehicle, as a back-up in case of jack stand fail. I even do that when I'm working on my1969 Corvette, while it is in the air on my 4-post.

Ordered some ARB Tred Pro recovery boards and bag from Amazon. Will post some pics when they come in. Great to have handy. I will through them in the truck when off roading.

Wife's Bronco finally got the interior stuff done she wanted. Last on the list is a Change to Black leather with Pink stitching! that will get done in November.

Looks like it turned out well. Hope she is happy with it.

Installed the IAG cup holder at the back of the armrest area. Easy, about 7 minutes. Just gently pop the rear panel off, remove two T-20 Torx screws, put the metal frame in, reinstall screws and put the panel back in. When using the seats, place the cup holder in and remove before folding the seats forward.

Where’d ya get that? Or homemade? I have been putting off changing the brushed silver horsey on my tailgate just because the ford oval is sooo shiny.

I picked up my new vehicle and broke the engine in. 1000 miles with basically no major highways and not hard on the engine running though the gears and being very gentle. Only a bit of off roading towards the end of the break in. Got an oil change. Then went to Michigan for the Woodward dream and at Holly Oaks ORV climbed a the biggest rock there. Then back home rally drove real hard with the paddle shifters and pushing it in 2H and 4W on a remote trail and didn't see a soul and no cell service all before my 1st payment.......I remember my 1st payment (bi - weekly) the other day and I thought oh wow...it has already been quite the trip and haven't even forked out the first time. You can cram a lot of action into two weeks....1st payment..

It won't be long you will be up and running. At least you can't drop the truck. My last hip replacement I dropped my enduro bike after riding through a remote mountain trial and had to pick it up and strained my leg...boys will be boys...

Been thinking about you and your surgery. Hubby had his done July 17th. He is doing great and hope you are too! Cute pic! Looks like they love Darrel too!!

Hoping to get the other hip done before Christmas. And as long as there is no complications, yes, I will be having fun again soon!
No, I can't drop the Bronco. But, if I fall trying to get in, it is a bit of way down.
And, I know complications. My husband's 1st hip got infected. Finally had to take it all back out for 8 months. But, he was able to get in his CJ, which is on 40s. He had a blast wheeling that day.
