Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

I added this handy trail sight-mounted dune flag attachment bracket. Although it was already stainless steel, I wanted it to match the trail sight, so I had it powder coated. Now I’ll be ready for the dunes! The Handy Flag I got folds away and gets stored in a bag in the trunk. Love the quick-release feature.

Folding would be nice for the 2-doors. Mine fits on the way to the park but would be a little in the way if I had a passenger (narrator: she never has passengers). Dumb q, but is in wind-rated? I was wondering if those would hold up as well, but I've been interested.

Hope to post something worthwhile here someday. Patiently, patiently awaiting a build date. I’m sure most of you know how that goes….

I have the same set-up on my Bronco. I live right by a ORV park with a ton of Side by side and dirt bikes running around in the dunes and I pop it on when I get there. The quick release is really quick and it folds and stows easy. Handy flag says you can run it at highway speeds, but its like a six foot whip on the top of the fender. I would be concerned about hitting trees, awnings, power lines, and unplanned travel back to 1955

lol yes, no need on the highway, but our dune winds get pretty peppy. I wish I could give that two laughing emojis^

I think the mast folds into three or four equal-length bars and fits easily into the supplied bag with draw string. I have it tucked out of the way in my trunk, the space under the rear cargo hatch, so it’s easy to get to. The Bronco on the flag is pretty cool, too.
