Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

I put on my taigate table and covered the holes left after installing the drawer. I love the way it looks.20220131_162923.jpg

I'm thinking about getting the D6's too. Is the punctured surface of the running board okay for bare feet? Or is it a little jagged? Wondering about kids' feet on the beach.

Haven't tried :ROFLMAO:

They are certainly not sharp, not jagged at all. I'd be more worried about them getting hot in the sun. Here in Central CA, you don't touch anything black after it's been in direct sunlight more than a few minutes.

YMMV

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

Removed the Stubby antenna. Back to the OEM
Stubby just didnt do well for me, and though I dont like the look of the original, the sound is much better.
Which stubby did you use/remove? Personally, I do most of my listening via my phone, streaming, or satellite, so I'm not that worried about it. But I'm curious how bad it was?

I think I agree. Reception stinks with it. I might go back too. This is my first car with CarPlay and Spotify and I like it so much that I'm not listening to the radio much anyway. Once baseball season starts again, if it does, I'll make a decision about the stubby.

I bought the rocket antenna from Amazon and it was awful. I returned it and I stopped by our local advanced auto parts. I found one that looks exactly like the regular antenna but is a stubby. It has the wire wrapped around the antenna that is covered look. Works great and have been using it ever since. I can't seem to find it on their website though

That's it I find it works well where I am I live about an hour north of NYC and travel another hour north for work each day so it is a rural area. It drops I'm some areas but not much more than the original one. Also I found it nerve racking to see the original sway when I was doing 80 on the highway

I got mine stuck for a while in my drive way in some huge drifts from the snow storm. I rammed the drifts About 5 times and got thru. Got turtled on the skid plates for a bit but it was like over 3 feet of snow I was bulldozing thru. If I had more room for momentum it probably would have made it the first time

Ordered a few different brackets. One for a JK, another universal flag/cb antenna holder. Will be installing a WeBoost system and antenna at the rear, and a GMRS antenna on the front.

Hoping to run the weboost through the tailgate grommet and behind the trim up to the front seats.

The GMRS will probably go through the grommet up front (thanks @trailrecon) for his video. I may just do the glove box install like his.

Got the "BADFOOT" plate I've been sitting on mounted. Pulled the Kentrol shackle mount pate holder, replaced it with the Builtright piece. Washed it, filled it with gas.

Question for those that got the built right plate relocation kit…. How do you avoid the 360 copilot sensors?

Removed crash bars for 35s going on Monday.
I had 35" tires and a Zone 2" lift installed on Friday. The installer said he couldn't remove the crash bars because they are a safety component. And my tires do rub if I go to a full turn. So I was looking for crash bars to replace them with and found these by 4 Wheel Parts. Has anyone tried them?

I believe I read somewhere that the SAS package doesn’t include them. Honestly if you were in an accident, I don’t see how they would help much.
