Couldn't do any wheeling this weekend unfortunately - but I DID install my new ditch lights - I won these in an Instagram drawing from my local Bronco group (Gold Country Broncos), the prize was provided by Wild Horses Broncos :)

Diode Dynamics trailer hitch taillight arrived a bit ago. Took about five minutes as the electrical hook ups are built into the bracket to protect them. Unscrew one bolt and you have access to work. I found that this YouTube video was the most accurate:
you will have to disconnect two zip ties for best relocation of the existing harness. All in all works great.

Today, I got installed the Go Rhino RB20 Slim Running boards and Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-Back Exhaust System. These running boards fit the body lines perfectly and the exhaust sounds great!

Installed the Bestop soft top today. Took about 6 hours total all said and done. Love the look of the trektop on the 2 door though😍

Installed the Bestop soft top today. Took about 6 hours total all said and done. Love the look of the trektop on the 2 door though😍

I'm not a fan of soft tops myself but that looks really good. It appears to be more durable then OEM too.

Yeah my folks have a OEM soft top and comparing it to theirs this Bestop is better fit and finish. The Twill material seems super durable. I personally like the look of hardtop also but the convenience of soft top when weather is so unpredictable is going to be nice. I think I'll ride with it in safari style with just the top part on but the windows and doors off most of the summer

Would love to do this mod someday. How tough was the bushing install?

For me, 3/5 in difficulty. I used a large crescent wrench to loosen the inner tie rod, but I didn't have room to leverage the wrench. So, I removed the front steel skid plate and that made it much easier.

Getting the plastic bushing out is tricky as well. Rather than pick at it, I screwed two screws into the plastic, and then yanked the screws with a pair of pliers.

Popping the new bushing in place was easy peasy after that.

Added a roof rack. The vendor and manufacturer were incorrect about it allowing the front panels to be removed with it on so I had to get a metal grinder and have some fun. I really wanted a rack with sides to feel like items were secure with panel removal ability and clean light bar fitment. Would have preferred a half rack but I failed to find a 2 door half rack with sidewalls. Waiting on the lightbar that will fit cleanly inside the front if the rack.

What brand of rack did you go with?
