What about cyber orange?

Color really is subjective. I test drove a Ranger with the 2.3 just to see how the engine responded before I ordered my Bronco. Thought it was ok but not for me. Saw the same color on the Bronco, and total different story. It looks great! I prefer metallic colors and love Orange and reds on vehicles. I got HPR. It's another one that looks different depending on the light.

I will be a new bronco owner....hopefully!! Planning on ordering a bronco sport badlands within the week. My top color choice is cyber orange. I don't particularly care what others think...I do my own thing. My concern is that (1) I won't like the color when the car comes in. Can't find any local dealers that have that color on the lot to go see and (2) I will get tired of the color after a while. I keep my cars until they die....at least 12-15 years. Anybody have a cyber orange bronco and have any thoughts/input?

I was not sure that I would love the Cyber Orange but it has truly grown on me. It stands out.

The recovery hooks look so good. I want to paint the knuckles themselves on mine, do the letters, and paint the beauty rings on the wheels to match. I have the paint, just need the time now

Thank you for all your input. I actually saw one on the road the other day and basically stalked it on the road - drove behind it for a while, drove beside it for a while, drive in front it for a while (guy probably thought I was crazy!!)...while it is a striking color, I decided that I did not like it! For me, it looked too much like a school bus or a construction vehicle. SO....I went with Area 51!!!!

Cyber orange wasn't my 1st choice but it looks really cool, because of the metallic flake. I have Carbonized Grey Metallic and love the metallic flake and quality of the paint, clear coat. Everyone who sees it clean says wow it looks so good especially in the sun!! I agree, Maybe its because I'm a almost a baby boomer (one year too young lol) but pastel colors hold no attraction to me, so bland, JMO. Get what you want, I think CO is bitchin. BTW black powder-coated bead locks look great, I did it only $20 a wheel. Changed the whole look of the truck

I love love love my Cyber Orange Bronco. Sure don't miss me coming down the road and it's really easy to find in a parking lot!

Color is so rich and vibrant.

We can argue about personal preference all day, the reason Cyber Orange is so controversial is bc in person it looks nothing like the early pics on Ford's website. I like orange and yellow sporting vehicles, Cyber Orange looks exciting in print and was my #2 color choice. Bronco OffRodeo featured weird Metallic Mustard Broncos. We were very surprised when informed that was Cyber Orange. Some attendees felt it is ok, but all agreed 1. it isn't orange and 2. they wouldn't order one. Ordering one sight-unseen would be risky. (Check out tfl you tube site, they have one, and you would never guess that vehicle is the same color.)

It is one of my favorite colors. My parents got one. I went with HPR.

There isn't a bad color choice in a Bronco. I have seen all of the colors out & about & they all look great. It's just a matter of individual taste. Good luck making a color choice!

I completely agree. I like seeing the different colors of Broncos on the road or in pics on these threads. Ford does a great job on all of them. I thought about a few colors before I ended up with mine new Bronco Sport.

One thing I will say, this paint is *very* soft and chips at nothing. I kind of expected a tri coat to be more resilient, but every nick from rocks, or just bumping it funny with a part or tool goes right to bare metal.

When I test drove a bronco it was CO and I liked it. It was my original choice and seeing it in person solidified it for me.

I don't believe Cyber Orange is an available 2023 color, though ordering information hasn't been updated for 2023 to be sure.

Cyber Orange is not yellow. You really see that if you park around a yellow car. I was at an event and there were 3 yellow jeeps scattered around the parking lot, and my Cyber Orange bronco. Those jeeps really stood out.

If Cyber Orange isn't available, the tri-coat paint options are worth the investment. All of them can look so good in the sunlight. The Cyber Orange looks good even when dirty, something a black bronco won't get away with. If Cyber Orange isn't available, I would have gone with Eruption Green, or Hot Pepper Red. I saw both of those colors at the Bronco Offroadeo and both of them look amazing.
This photo is pretty close to how it looks, though you don't see the sun play on the surface due to the clouds. But I ensured the white balance was accurate.

Saw today that new orders for Mach-E for 2023 will offer the cyber orange paint option...WTF?...how about us Bronco reservation holders being pushed to a 23 that are losing that paint option??

I won't try to make it make sense, because it doesn't. But I think the reasoning is that the Mach-E is built in Mexico where the Bronco Sport is built. Bronco Sport gets to keep Cyber Orange but we don't, since the big Broncos are built at the Michigan Assembly Plant where the F-150 is built. And F150's pretty much only come in boring colors, so we're stuck with them too. I figured that Cyber Orange also got culled because it will be too similar to the Yellowstone that will be available on the Heritage. But then I realized....we (are rumored to) have two reds, two blues, and two Area 51's (although they're calling one Azure Grey Metallic). Everything else is gray. So it's not like they're afraid of having too many similar colors.

It also makes absolutely zero sense to me that, if they're not going to take any new MY23 orders, why don't they just delay the color change and fulfill peoples' orders the way they were submitted. This is by far the most reasonable solution, which is why Ford isn't doing it.

Everything this guy says is true. The color is amazing if you like loud obnoxious colors. If that isn’t your thing, there are more muted tones in the paint offerings to choose from. I went HPR only because my wife would shoot me if I brought home a CO Bronco. Eruption Green and Velocity Blue we’re close behind Hot Pepper Red. Pics from Ford Carlisle 2021.

Orange is a color that is between Yellow and Red and actually can be orange very close to Yellow, and orange very close to Red. And if you park your cyber orange bronco right next to a yellow jeep, you'll notice how different it is.

In person I find the cyber orange looks very similar to a creamsicle.
