Any Winch recommendations for a two-door bronco? How big do I really actually need? Is There any good brackets to install the winch that don’t cover the bronco sign?12k seems like over kill but i was looking at this.

I am still waiting for the Bronco that I ordered in February. Scheduled to built the week of May 4th. I am trying to learn about recovery and a recovery kit, and thinking about a winch ; Badlands I ordered will come with the capable bumper.

It has been a few years since I played in the forests and logging roads if the U.P. of Michigan.

@RagnarKon made a video on adapting the Ford Performance Winch kit to the capable bumper..

The kIt is great and comes with everything you need. I am not a fan of the winch mount as IMO it sits too low and sticks too far out..

It's a killer kit and Ford always has discount codes to knock the price down even more but I thInk it might be sold out / discontinued..

I do not remember the exact price but I got mine heavily discounted
… like a number of things, there is that extra fun Tax.
Nice thing for me is that Yankum is only an hour and a half drive from where I am. If you can cut them yourself I say do it! I wish I had the equipment to do that. I have taught a few CNC design classes at the university but I do not have access to that equipment any longer.

I really try to spend money with those that come up with the great stuff/ ideas…

But the off-set would be a good easy cnc program. I seem to follow a harder path and my tools are manual (good escape)

Question re your rigging, with short 50’ winch line plus 150’ you must need to shorten up…. Ever use something like this?
