Mr. Farley, come-on-man, take the 4-door Bronc and make a classic 2-door pickup truck. With no 2-door midsized pickup in the Ford lineup, a 2-door long-bed will not take sales away from the Ranger nor Maverick. I'll take mine with the 2.3L EcoBoost/7-Speed Manual. Please. :)

And, hearing it will be called Ranchero.

and there goes another good name. Why can't they recycle a name whose reputation can't be ruined, like Fairmont.

Next time you go out count how many single cab pickups you see. I feel fortunate to have gotten my 2 door Bronco because they're going away too, along with the manual.

Big mistake. Even Farley commented that they could use small cars right now after working overtime to cancel them.
Ever notice those old trucks with plows on them have 2 doors and manual transmissions.

Well at least a Ranchero had a bed, a Maverick was a car
But I had to order one regardless and definitely like it was better than the Ranger except for the ground clearance

If they made a 2 door Maverick I would consider it but not at 34k

Funny how greedy Ford gets when it sees it has a hit on it's hands.

Started off at 22k
For less than that I can bring in a truck from out west, rebuild and upgrade it, have a V-8 and 8 ft bed. No spies, nannies or frivolous options.

I'd consider a 2-door Bronco pickup but it couldn't be my only vehicle, or I would want good storage built in. I was wondering the other day what I would do if I have to pare down to one, but I want the bed of my Comanche but the space of my Bronco, so I couldn't come to a conclusion.

Not sure about a Bronco pickup, but I do see the potential of a 2-door Ranger. That could appeal to the fleet/government/business crowd and it might be enough people overall to justify making one.

But, maybe not honestly. Dealer had an awesome 2-door F-150 on his lot in September. Seemed like it had been there awhile, so I asked him how many 2-door F-150s they sell. He said it was probably 1 out of every 25-30 sales. So... yeah... might simply not be the market for one.

Its called a Ranger. Same frame.

Where is the Ranger 2-door cab? A REAL 2-door cab? Does not exist in the Gen 6 Ranger lineup.

The Ranger Raptor (aka Baby Raptor) is actually pretty fantastic. It is significantly quicker than the Braptor. Don't ask how I know. My dogs love the four door configuration, and the five foot bed (technically 59.6 inches) works fine for us. The Fox live valve suspension is a gift for those who like airborne activities.

I gave my manual two door Ford Ranger to my sister a year ago...I still miss that truck. It was on it's sixth set of tires and still running strong at well over 200,000 miles.
