That’s pretty in depth and detailed. I wonder what the cost on that was compared to the quotes I got for PPF locally?

Depends on your budget and needs. Coating with prep is about $1K on the body. You can also add ppf for just the front or the full car (~$1500 - $2700). Then you have a la cart options, roof, glass, wheels. As you'd imagine it's a full custom job depending on what you want.

My installer gave me all those options and I picked out what we wanted.

That’s close to what they quoted me. I have yet to see what steps they entail, but would hope it’s something like that, they are xpel PPF certified, so I’ll learn more when I take delivery.

Hey PizzaMan,

If you don't mind telling us all, what was the final dollar for what you had done?

I’ve had several other cars done with these guys and I believe they were experimenting with my Bronco. GTecniq corporate was there as well. So I’m hesitant to say the exact amount cause i want these guys to get paid for their hard work, but it was less than $4K. I was extremely pleased with the end result.

The real question is, how does it work? If you take it off road and trees rub, what does the vehicle look like? Colorado pinstriping visible? Or nothing?

So far, the nasty Georgia Clay comes off extremely easy! I haven't had any trees rub yet, however if it does get damaged, I have a 10 year replacement warranty. MuddyBronco.jpg

The XPEL ppf is a great product and really works. Put it on my 2019 Bullitt. For me it is about the long road trips. All the new cars get peppered. Drove it 75 miles home and got a chip on the lower front facia. The next day loaded up and got it done. Zero paint issues no chips, no scratches and easy maintenance. Worth every penny
