Vented side windows for the hardtop?

As many have complained before, I too have a leaking hardtop. Ford has been diligent in getting me a new top but has been going through the “process” Ford has put forth. However during this process the side windows have to be replaced on the top. I just got off the phone with the dealer who has told me that due to fords part numbering scheme, I get ventable side windows as the replacement. Don’t get me wrong I am excited about the prospect but I can not for the life of me find any information on them. Does anyone have any information on these? Did a quick search here and found nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Here is what the dealership told me (again none of which I can verify)
The windows are:
-safari style vent windows
-standard on certain “non-removable top” big broncos

So there’s at least two things I can’t verify…..

Let me try again, ASSUMING you don`t have a Heritage model but do have a MIC top , As a FORD parts guy doing this job for 45 yrs, They should be reusing your windows --full stop ! Resealing your glass is no reason to replace the glass UNLESS it got damaged ! The dealership doing this job is NOT reading the parts catalog correctly, your fixed glass part number does not change up. The removeable glass part number does change from 2 part numbers (the glass and the frame individually ) to one part number (glass and frame together ). If they get audited on this repair it will get charged back to them as an over repair.
Feel free to send me your VIN for confirmation.

Congrats for being a parts guy for 45 years. I apologize that this dealership is doing this and yours doesn’t???? In all fairness it is no reason to berate the situation. It is what it is. Does it affect you at all? No. Is any of this costing me a dime? No.
For the record I have a 2023 Big Bend w/sasquatch package, I will definitely not be sending my vin to you….. You are obviously overly emotional on a situation you have no stake in. I am just trying to get further info on my windows, give info as I get it to answer those that also have questions about them and might want to purchase them.
I’m definitely not here to discuss dealership practices and policies….. Kindly share the proper proceedures within another thread.
Thanks!

Since you are happy with what they are doing ,I`m good with it as well . My only interest is in suppling correct info so people understand what should happen and not get their hopes up that they will magically get removable windows in place of their fixed windows.
There is lots of misinformation already in this one thread ,never mind any other thread in this forum, and it should be corrected when possible.

I have the Trailrax PakRax on my truck. I wonder if that install would impede opening those windows to vent?

I believe he said it’s for his 2023 Big Bend w/sasquatch. I agree that the vent windows, is nice but for me, I ain’t getting in the back to vent them. lol I wonder the cost of them and if they make them for the 3 door.

The bronco sport is my daughters, the cactus grey 4-door belongs to my wife and the red 2-door is mine. It was the only pic I had that the family’s cars in it. Sorry for the confusion.

If by three door (drivers, passengers and rear door) then yes they do! Because that’s what I drive and they are trying to replace. As for cost….. all they told me is that of warrenty didn’t cover it, it was a bit over $2,000 for them to be installed. That included that price of the glass and install…. Wish I could break it down better for you but when they gave me that number I said I’d pass. Then well, the current situation came about!

More misinformation still here (from moderators as well) about the REMOVABLE windows ! Not a venting window.
@BostonBadlands -- Probably couldn`t use depending on how close to the top your rack is.

Love the removable windows on the Heritage painted hard tops. I thought I had read somewhere that the removable windows are no longer an option for new builds. @C6ZZGT any chance you could verify that?
