Wondering if anyone has made their track bar adjustable with a DIY kit, add a Heim joint or other joint. Also, it appears the track bar is perfectly straight and I wonder if other straight track bars of the same length would fit into the brackets I just spent a bunch of money on upper and lower control arms for the back and looking for a budget adjustable track bar option. Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance.

I wandered and got lost, again.

NO.. two very different things..... A sway bar uses torsion to resist the body from swaying (tilting) left and right. These are very handy on the road as you are cornering especially at high speeds.... Off road at slow speeds the sway bar will resist articulation (resist one side going up while the other side is going down). You do not want that at slow speeds off road. off road you are trying to gain as much movement as possible at each corner and you want that movement to be independent of the other corners. Hence... a sway bar disconnect. Some people that are hard core off roaders will completely remove the sway bar... but that is not good for on road performance (the vehicle will tilt a lot going around corners).

We're (was) a sway bar disconnect a factory option? I have a 2022 BD. A rear locker only (if that matters).

I took off my sway bar. Not needed imo. Ride so much smoother.

I have the disconnecting sway bar... I like mine on the road since I am sitting about 10 inches higher than I did stock SASQ... That height tends to create a lot of sway... center of mass and all... LOL.

Yes disconnecting sway bar was a "package" option.... I do not remember which packages... I know Bad Lands had it... and Raptor... Not sure which others might have offered it?

Lots of other options... Manual disconnect links etc... I know some guys are retrofitting the factory disconnect and operating it through a 12v signal switch... And like Ben.. there are guys simply removing them completely.

Most people wheel just fine with it fully connected.
