Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with TPM sensors that keep saying low pressure when they’re not. I have two sets of after market tires and they both keep doing it I’ve had them both reset a couple of times. Any input would be appreciated.

Tpms need to be programmed to the module and the sensors need to compatible to the module. If you have the right sensors any tire shop even napa can program the module.

I’ve tried all different pressures from 45 down to 35 and when the fault comes up it is showing lower Then what the actual tire pressure is and I’ve tried three different tire gauges and they are reading fine on my wife’s car.

Is it really cold?
Freezing temps can make the TPMS act up. Does it go away after you drive for a while?

Hmm, that is odd. I know the pressure goes down in cold weather, sometimes triggers the TPMS and then the pressure doesn't go up enough while driving for it to shut off. I have to get my pressure (on another vehicle) to about 37 before the TPMS warning goes off, then it doesn't come on again until I get to under 32 or so. In cold weather it fluctuates by at least two or three (or more) psi.

You should have opted for that dealer "Nitrogen" package . Pure N doesn't fluctuate nearly as much , LOL

It is my understanding that the TMPS sensors for the Bronco are auto sensing - after swapping tires have you gone for a ride for at least 2 minutes over 20 MPH to allow them to self adjust/calibrate?

here is a list of fault codes and what they mean…

It’s happening with both my sets of tires summer and winter so I don’t think the temp is the problem. Both sets are aftermarket. My truck is going in for service next week so I’ll mention it to the dealer so I’ll keep everyone posted but thanks for the input.
