My 2023 has switched itself to GMT instead of EDT. I can't find where to change it. Its not listed in clock settings. Any ideas?

Have you tried resetting the clock to GPS time under Settings > Clock? I haven't found anything concrete, other than it sets the time zone by GPS.

Its not offered on my screen. Please see picture. Whenever I turn on the Auto Time Update, it jumps to GMT, which is 4 hours ahead of EDT.

I must have watched a Sync 3 video --- what does Auto Time Update do?

Google AI gave me this ...

Here's how to set the time zone on a Ford SYNC 4 Bronco Sport:
1. Tap the Home icon
2. Select Settings
3. Choose Preferences
4. Press + or - to adjust the time
5. Select A.M. or P.M. to choose between morning or afternoon
6. Choose a clock format (12-hour or 24-hour mode)
7. Turn on Automatic Time Zone Update (for navigation-equipped vehicles)
8. Set the clock to GPS time (for navigation-equipped vehicles)
9. Tap Apply to save the changes

The last suggestion I've found is to make sure all your updates are done. I'll keep looking, though!

Maybe that's my problem lol. I don't know why I was thinking you had the Sport.

Try toggling to Auto Time Update. I just went out to my Bronco and it was toggled on.

When I do that it goes to GMT. I guess it thinks I'm in London!๐Ÿ˜

Just thinking about this, have you tried driving around with the auto update time enabled to see if maybe it will pick up a different cell tower?

The drive to work didn't change the time zone. It still says GMT and it is 4 hours ahead. I guess I will leave it on manual time. Thanks for the help!

Have you tried to completely reset the radio? I had an issue with Android Auto and a constant black screen. Reset AA and it still happened so I reset the radio. I do still get the AA black screen every so often, but it's nowhere near as frequent as it was before.

I'd try resetting the radio and see if that fixes whatever is stuck..

My 2022 Bronco has also switched itself to GMT instead of EDT. I noticed this yesterday (Tuesday 21 May at 0700).

* I have kept my Bronco on GPS time since delivery 2 years ago.
* I have kept my Bronco to receive updates automatically since delivery 2 years ago.
* I took it off of GPS time and toggled back on a few times yesterday and today
* Moving around to 'find the right tower' (or position relative to a satellite) doesn't make sense

Today I used maps and each time I came to a stop, the map would pull away (back?) so I can see the sate, country, continents, and planet. Similar to when you use the option on a plane to track where you are. This was never a feature in the last two years and is not anything I have changed/accepted to enable it.

If anyone from Ford / Bronco are on here, please look into these new issues and advise what we need to do.

Thanks.
